This wasn't quite as uniform as I wanted for my 1st small project so I put it in a grinder it made my whole flat smell like rotten eggs!? It was only a level table spoons worth tooSo I put my mask on early and will try and do my grinding outside if it's neededOther than the odd smell it's brilliant works brilliantly as a texture with bindex

need a lot of medium/paint to stick to canvas

To make gessoThe product was medium white marble dust & was to coarse & grainy to make gesso, unless you want very textured board or canvas. I’m going to see if it will grind down to a smoother powdered. It certainly isn’t a powder as you can in picture. Quite expensive for what it is. I would NOT recommended it.See photos.
