I have an autel maxisys 808s and I have the original cable. I didn’t measure the original cable I got with before purchasing this “longer” cable. This is not a longer cable than what came with the scanner. In fact, I compared them and this one is slightly shorter. It works though. It functions just like the original. Unfortunately it isn’t any longer than the original cable it came with.They note in the pictures and description that the original cable is short and that this is longer, but I am now assuming they are referring to other scanners. They should change the description to reflect that. If you have a newer autel scanner that came with this cable, then you already have this.If you need a replacement cable then this will work, just don’t expect it to be longer.

I actually got this to use with a different brand scanner, and to my pleasant surprise it seems to completely work. I'm not sure if this would be the case with all brands, but it seems to be pinned the same. The quality seems great- it feels really well made - the cable is thick and the connectors are robust. It connect securely to my car's OBD port as well. Overall worth it.
