This is a very simple pendant for the cube and that is its attraction.. It makes it really easy to have the cube with you all of the time. The rubber almost fully covers and protects so you can drop it down on a table and not worry about it much.. It does not have 100% coverage. The lens side is still exposed but it has to be. The camera can be easily activated while mounted in the case which is also comfortable to wear.. This is a great accessory..

Doesn't fit at 100% more like 98% because you can still see the rainbow stickers with this case on from the front. Just slightly. The case has a nice quality texture, feels good in the hands. It adds a little more rubberized protection and a little increase in the overall size. If you have big hands and find the polaroid cube too small you may want this. It's not bad but I just don't see why or where you would want to wear this around. It's a camera. Don't know how tough the Cube is but having it bounce around can't be good. What I did was take the nylon loop out of the back and added another magnet so now I can mount magnetically from the back of the camera as well as the bottom. You can buy magnets at any hardware store for $3. You get 3 of them and they are quite strong. Don't know if it's a good idea to have another magnet on the Cube but it hasn't negatively affected the camera so it must be ok. I would have preferred this silicone case to offer some kind of belt mount or clip. Something else other than a nylon loop with a lanyard and a carabineer. I don't plan on hanging this on the christmas tree so why the loop... Make it more useful. Offer a lens protector or something. It's an ok cover but it's another overpriced $18 Cube accessory. Update: I find this overpriced accessory eliminates jello on my windshield mount. So im bumping it up a star.

this product is a thing of true beauty and simplicity. I've spent a lot of money on fancy high-end photo products, but they're either too heavy, cumbersome, or complicated to use. This little item is so small and simple to use it's magical. It can be On or Off. And if it is On, then it can be in Picture mode or Video mode. That's it. It does not have image stabilization so the video is a bit jerky however for me it is more than acceptable. It also has a microphone. I found Windows Media did not play the sound recording that is automatically recirded with Video mode, yet the free VLC media player does. go to http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html Even if you're looking for a higher end product, this makes a terrific gift for anyone. I've already purchased three of them.

Because it didn't come like this, it's different. I didn't like. it's really simple.

This is a good silicone rubbery bumper case to protect the Polaroid Cube mini action camera. It comes with a twine lanyard, the length of which can be adjusted, and with a metal clip that allows you to hook it onto a keychain, backpack, metal fittings on a purse, etc. There is a circular shape embossed on the top of the bumper case that maps to the size of the On/Off button on the Cube so you know where to press to operate the Cube. Be aware that you must remove this case when you want to offload your image captures from the Cube. Because this is something I just purchased I'm not sure how well it will hold up to constant on's & off's. But it seems like a durable rubber. Also, I doubt the Cube with this bumper case on it would fit the Cube tripod mount... I am dinging Polaroid one star for two design elements related to this Cube bumper case; one aesthetic, one technical & usage related. The aesthetic one is that it's just a plain, solid color case (the same holds for the other colors this case comes in). Well, gee, Polaroid obviously went to some lengths to hire a design firm to make the Cube "cute" and decorated with its iconic multi-colored stripes. Why the heck would they then provide solid color bumper cases? That covers up one of the distinctive design elements of the Cube and the one that identifies it as a Polaroid camera (hello, Polaroid marketing people - have you heard of branding...). The technical complaint is that with this bumper case installed on your Cube you cannot see the LED light that tells you: (A) The Cube is powered on or off and (B) that it is recording (the light on the top of the Cube blinks when you're recording). In addition to the design element of the striping being carried onto the bumper case, there should have been a cutout to allow that LED light to shine through so you can gauge what mode the Cube is in. That's a serious design flaw. When you are wearing the Cube on its lanyard, the face of the camera hangs downward - facing the ground. So if you do want to shoot you will either have to hold the camera up or rig some way to hold the case with Cube in the direction you want to be shooting. In that regard I definitely would not consider this a mount (and, didn't expect it to be one...). It is merely a convenient way to have the Cube on you, somewhat protected (except for the lens face of the Cube), and with you for use when desired.

Works as advertised, except for the carabiner in the picture, the lanyard is too flimsy to be useful. So far after a month of use and daily removal and replacement the bumper still retains it's shape and hold of the CUBE. The product protects and keeps the CUBE handy around my neck on a third party lanyard along with my keys.

It was amazing for the product I purchased but it said I came with a metal hook. So disappointed it didn't come with it. Wanted it just for that.

The case is great ! The lanyard is crap ! Plan on replacing it if you buy this, The cheap string used doesn't hold in place on the adjuster ! Complete garbage and that's where it went.

il suo rapporto resistenza/elasticità mi ha stupito non poco. è riuscita a far sopravvivere il piccolo cubetto della polaroid ad una vacanza estremamente stressante (per la macchina intendo) tra sabbia e acqua. indispensabile. permette di portarsi l'action cam sempre e ovunque. l'unica cosa è che non si vede lo stato del minuscolo LED della macchinetta, ma poco importa dato che deve proteggerla da persone maldestre come me!!!

Me encanta el tacto de goma suave y que se adapta a la perfección a la cámara. Es una segunda piel. Además tiene una cuerda para poderlo llevar mejor. No tiene anilla.

Arrived in time. Great but a bit expensive for a piece of rubber. It's actually due to the Polaroid tm.
