To be honest, I didn't expect much when I received this backpack. Most items advertised as 'tactical' on Amazon set off a bunch of involuntary warnings in my brain that make me assume it's a trash product designed to help some silly middle schooler feel tough for three days and sore for five when his friends rough him up for acting like a clown. But I will also gladly try anything if it is given to me at the most reasonable price of FREE.And frankly, I'm glad I did. Because whatever you want to make of my initial misgivings, I admit they were entirely unwarranted. This is a quality bag that has proven itself quite useful for day hiking. The material is sturdier, the padding more generous, and the straps more numerous than I expected, and none of it feels like it’s doomed to fall apart if I shove some disc weights in there, which I of course will.Now, the overall carrying capacity isn't spectacular—this is in all respects just a normal-sized backpack— but it gets the job done. It's not going to accommodate gear for an extensive trip, but for casual use it’s as good as any other pack I’ve ever owned. And as I said above, it doesn’t appear that overstuffing it is going to bust any seams or zippers.The stock flair—a black and white American flag patch—isn't really my flavor, but it’s fitted with the standard hook and loop Velcro, so you can easily acquire a substitute representing your particular state, country, or liberation army if you’re so inclined. I wasn't disappointed with what I found elsewhere on Amazon.Overall, I consider this a very reasonable option for anyone looking for a simple but high-quality outdoor backpack. Buy with confidence; there are a lot of worse ones out there.

Works well as an emergency bag (think bug-out or safety supplies in your vehicle). It's a bit small, though. A kid would probably love it, especially in the assortment of colors it's available in. Would recommend.

I like this green military-like backpack.Its design is appealing, and the color is quite attractive, especially if you love the rugged military look.Made of fabric that feels fairly rough and strong, the backpack offers much space and can hold a good amount of things. I find it really convenient. The material appears to be durable and can withstand regular usage.Overall, I believe this backpack to be a good investment if you need space and appreciate the military style.

This is a fairly nice bag, but not quite big enough to pack clothes for an overnight trip. it's more sized to take a jacket and a couple other items out for a day hike.

I like how comfortable the straps on the backpack are on my shoulders but the fabric is thin and cheaply made and will tear with heavy use for fishing. The zippers constantly get stuck or will not lock which makes me fidget with the zippers and waste crucial daylight when I am out fishing.
