The product wouldn't activate, so I called the technical center. The rep took control of my computer and started to tell me the litany of problems. After about five minutes regarding my hopelessly useless computer, I asked if, at the end of his oration, would he try to sell me software to clean everything up. isn't that what the FixMeStick is for? No thanks and goodbye.

Honestly, with our computers now being more vulnerable to attacks from all different kinds of threats, like Trojans and spyware, trying to find the best pieces of mind for your computers is much easier said than done. In regards to protection from those pests, we have more often gone to antivirus programs, which have done some good at the end. But after time they clog up the computer more than people realize. That can be because those viruses and malware are just quarantined. You do need a device to remove viruses and malicious pieces of harm. That was why the Fix Me Stick was developed. It does a good job at removing viruses and can protect your computer from crashes. But when you pair it up with a security program like McAfee, there are some problems. McAfee can easily clog up your computer because of the vast storage space it requires to use the security suite. Not to mention you only get 1 year of safeguarding your computer from both licenses each. Truthfully, you are definitely better off getting another antivirus program that doesn't have those problems like Vipre which has lifetime protection models, and going to HSN for a lifetime version of Fix Me Stick, that lasts towards the life of the computer.
