Lands' EndWomen's Starfish Mid Rise Slim Leg Pants

These would be perfect if they held their color better. They are extremely comfortable and I love the fit, but they do shrink a bit.The most disappointing is that the black dulls and looks dark grey after a few washes. I still wear them, but I prefer a black pant for work.

I really like these pants. They are mid a mid weight fabric, nice amount of stretch. I ordered black in the 1x and Extra large petite. For reference, I am 5'2-1/2" tall. My weight is 197lbs. Due to medical conditions I can't stand fabric too tight, belts irritating fabrics, zippers ,etc. These were perfect for me in that regard. No lumps or bumps show. Differences between the two sizes are as follows. I can fit into both sizes, no pinching at all in the waist. Most of my weight is carried in my belly, no problems there. Overall, the 1x was slightly bigger allover, but still looked good on. I like the length of the 1x more, a little longer, yet still could wear with sneakers or sandals. I loved the fit of the Extra large better as they were more form fitting without being tight. The Extra large were a Petite, so a noticeable difference there. I like the length better in the 1X. I like the look of smooth front pants (don't need anything more protruding from this belly!), as well as no jabbing from hooks, zippers and buttons. I have not washed them yet, so you would have to refer to other reviews for that. I have worn them throughout the day and they are so comfortable. No excessive wrinkling and no baggy knees. They do have a little extra bump out on the hips, which I would prefer they didn't. But, as hard as it is for me to find comfortable pants, I will live with it. I ordered another pair in the 1x, that's how much I like them. I hope this review helps someone out there.

I loved everything about these pants except a strange amount of oddly placed extra material on each side. As I was opening them, I almost thought they had pockets (which they don't). As seen in the picture posted from another reviewer, there is too much extra material on the upper sides. It might make more sense if that extra material was lower, perhaps intended for the hip area, but it's well above the hips. I returned them which is very unfortunate because I liked everything else about them.

They are super comfortable. The fabric is soft and the cut is looser in the leg. I got them in medium and they are full length on me (5’6, ~150lbs, and long legs).Only downside, they do have a weird amount if extra room at the hips. There are also some weird puckers in the front at the waistband. But I don’t think that’s a dealbreaker. The waistband is also very comfortable.I got them to wear at work as an alternative to uncomfortable slacks. I think with the right top and shoes they can be office appropriate. Or you could dress them down for casual wear. They’re thicker than most leggings, and the silhouette is somewhere between a pant and a legging.

The color was too red. For me, it was just a weird color.

This pant is significantly cheaper made than the genuine Lands’ End. I already owned a pair I purchased directly from Lands’ End that I love. If you look at the photo , you’ll see that the label is different. The fabric on this one is thinner and cheaper. The Lands’ End one has a little zippered pocket at the waist that is missing on this one. The cut of the pant it very similar to the real one. I haven’t washed the new one so time will tell.

The fit runs true to size. They fit a little loose at the waist, but I like that. The fabric high quality. I wanted the slim leg to wear instead of leggings.
