Great for Looping and Jamming
I struggled a bit with the interface on this pedal at first. After reading the manual, I thought it would work one way, but that wasn't quite right. This pedal has eight different loops in six different styles, and each of those styles has at least one loop that is not in 4/4 time, which is quite interesting. One of the most interesting features on this pedal is that you can activate a fill via the footswitch. That is the feature I had the most trouble figuring out. You have to single press the fill button to toggle that feature on or off. Once on, it works quite well, adding cool and useful fills at a button press. My only issue is that you have to toggle the feature off to stop the drums. You might be able to touch it with your toe if you are very careful, but this is a mini pedal, so you might hit something else. Unfortunately, that limits how much you can use this for live performance. It could still be quite useful for jamming alone or with friends, or for entering complex drum sequences into a looper, for which the inline interface could be quite useful. I tested this out both inline and with an aux input on my looper, and generally prefer using a separate input, personally, but placed late in your effects chain, this could work quite well. The samples sound quite good, and the EQ is helpful for adjusting the drum sound for different styles. It still sounds good through some light overdrive, but would generally be a bit better in a clean amp or through an effects loop. A little bit of reverb is quite nice, and the ability to add some modulation to the drums opens up some interesting possibilities. It is important to realize this is a mini pedal with no MIDI connections or anything, so it will be hard to match this to other things besides live playing, since your tempo controls are either a tempo dial or tap tempo. When switching patterns, your tempo setting is generally kept, though some loops are in half or double time, and it gets more complicated with those loops that are not in 4/4. I like that when switching patterns, the pedal generally waits until the bar is finished to switch to the new pattern, which makes it easier to stay in the groove. Overall, this pedal is a really good way to have some useful, great-sounding drum patterns for jamming or looping in a very small package.

What more would you want?! The MOOER LOOPER II
This MOOER Looper II is unreal for the price point, quality, easy of use, compact size, and reliability. To be able to layer 16 tracks with such a tremendous amount of detail and time is awesome. It’s a great tool for practicing with a small practice amp, or even for gigging ! This would also be a great pedal with their wireless sampling unit as well. This works well is in pedal chain, and is extra amazing with a Freeze pedal and a sustain. Things remain very clear, crisp, and up front. Such a great little investment for any level of player, and not just for guitar either…it is amazing with a mic creating sick harmonies! Buy it while it’s in stock, or pre-order it when it is not. The company is reliable and quick to reply as well. Awesome!

Good on Bass - Cool little envelope filter
I got this for a one trick pony to emulate the Bill Laswell dub bass LPF of his old DoD 545. I gotta say this little thing holds it own!I also put it thru the paces on the auto wah, funky stuff too. Again, there is no noticeable volume drop or tone suck on my passive Fender P Bass direct to pedal to Mustang headphone amp to Sony 7506 studio headphones.Zero noise. No click on switch. Solid pedal and value!

Compact Looper pedal
Compact, takes a small footprint. Works well so far.

Easy to use but fails easily
I have used this on a pedal board for about one hours of use and it developed a weird beeping sound that show up even when the volume is down.

Good drummer - hard to set up
The drum pedal works like a charm if you don't ask too much. I wanted it for practice and beat-keeping at small venue shows to spice up solo guitar, not professionally recording or replacing a human being. The options are all there, unfortunately there's absolutely not explanation about what each one is or how to change them (in the manual). Also, no power supply. I played with it for like an hour before I realized the little metal switch in the top middle changes "grooves." You pretty much have to just flip through all of them to find and write down what you actually want. Speed control is responsive. I can't seem to understand how the "fill" feature works, either - it can't really be turned off entirely to leave a raw drum beat.In short, if you just want digital drums to keep time and add flavor, it's a good-sounding and cheap option. If you want some kind of complex digital looper that might work in a band, probably spend more money elsewhere.

Mooer Micro Drummer II: Great beats and functionality in a small pedal!
The Mooer Micro Drummer II is just what I needed for some inspiration. I really love the variety of beats, the features, and the small size of this pedal. The eq options are nice, and the fills, including manual triggering, are awesome! Some tips: the switch is on/off in fill-off mode and is the fill trigger in fill-on mode. You switch modes by pressing the center LED and can do this during play. So, if you are in fill mode and are trying to turn off the beat, double click switch. Hold down LED to access EQ. Put the Micro Drummer II at the end of your pedalboard signal chain before your looper. Or, put in the FX loop of your amp. Get the Flamma 9V 300mA power supply. Can’t wait to experiment with all of the beats, and there’s a bunch of them!

I would have called it acoustitar
It kind of sounds like an acoustic, but not really so much that it blows your mind. It’s not expensive though, and I will use it on a couple of songs.

Works perfectly at end of my small pedalboard
I have this mini-pedal after the Sansamp (Tech 21 NYC) at the end of a small pedalboard (bass-tuner-chorus-fuzz-sansamp-Audiofile), and it works perfectly with no noise. It simplified my setup for both practice (with or without amp) and performance. It would be great to have an aux in as well, and those are available in higher price ranges, but otherwise it works perfectly for me so far. I am not a fan of all Mooer pedals (the Thunderball fuzz/distortion mini-pedal also on this pedalboard is so-so) but this one I like.
