It works great for camping

Can’t say enough great things about this product for starting fires in the fireplace. Better than fatwood. We also tested it outdoors to heat up some stew in the winter and it did work well, even in the windy weather. Will test it this summer to start our charcoal grill.

I ordered the 12 pack to try it out and was so impressed, I ordered this large bucket. To reiterate my previous review of the earlier purchase, it works just as stated in the description and is much safer and easier that splitting kindling. We supplement our heat with wood to reduce utility costs and because we like a wood fire; and also because power gets knocked out occasionally, so the wood stove is emergency backup. This is a great, very effective alternative to other types of fire starter.

this is an excellent product, and it does work as advertised, however i believe the price is too high. If the price were lower, i would reccomend this to all my friends.

Outstanding, timesaving Product. Works great to light a Fire in my Wood Stove in no time and without Fail.I do not go Camping, but I would imagine this would be very beneficial on a Camping Trip to start a Fire, even with Damp or Wet Wood.

I've been buying this product since it first came on the market, about 5-7 years ago. It used to be great: lit up instantly, reminded lit up at ver high temperature for up to 4 minutes. Not anymore. sometimes it's not that easy to get it started. It extinguishes within about one minute

My husband and I use this to start fires in our wood burning stove. It catches fire quickly and burns long enough to get the kindling layered on top of it burning. It sure beats wadding up newspaper to get a fire going and is much less expensive when purchased in bulk.
