Excellent idea and the best I’ve tried.
Substantial bags and absolutely brilliant. They come with snap lock plastic bags that you fill and insert in the canvas bag. This means you don’t lose sand through the canvas bags and the sand stays dry and the bags stay the same weight.I’d highly recommend these bags.

Useful item
These saddle style sand bags are very useful if you want to anchor something down on your visit to the beach such as tent, wind breaker, towel etc. They are easy to use and hold a descent amount of sand, I like that they can be zipped shut meaning I don't get sand everywhere. Can also be filled and transported with ease if you want to use these for other applications such as to anchor your tripod to stop it falling over for example.

make sure to buy enough sand beforehand
They hold sand well and don’t leak, great to keep my huge parasol into place even when it’s windy (though I still close it). The fabric seems strongly woven and allows for water to get in and out with no issues when it’s raining. You get a 4 pack of these, which is definitely enough to counterweigh most garden things, though you have to get a lot of sand to fill all 4.

Very useful to have if you have lighting stands or tripods that need to be stabilised.
These Fatazoii heavy-duty sandbags come as a four-pack which is particularly useful for either balancing lighting boom arms or simply weighing down lighting stands or tripods so that they are more stable - lowering the centre of gravity. Each bag is made from heavy-duty woven material with a pocket at each end and a strong woven strap that goes around the middle and is sewn on.On the strap is also a carabiner that you can use to hold the sandbag in place on a lighting stand as you can see in the photograph. In addition to the carabiner, each bag is supplied with two zip-top plastic bags to hold whatever loose material or ballast you decide to put inside. Each sandbag has two compartments and each of them has two zips to help seal the ballast inside. The zips on each side open from opposite ends so if there was something that was able to catch one of the zippers, orienting them like this makes it increasingly unlikely that it would be able to do the same with the second zip.The sandbags are 51.5cm long and 25.5cm wide with the size of the pockets from the bottom to the inner zip fastener being 19cm. This gives ample space for using sand or soil but there is nothing to stop you from using larger sized particles - tins of baked beans are what are used in the photograph. These are very useful to have if you have lighting stands or tripods that need to be stabilised.

Sturdy and reliable!
These heavy-duty sandbags are perfect for stabilizing light stands, tripods, and other equipment during outdoor shoots. The double zipper design ensures the sand stays securely inside, even in windy conditions. The included aluminum carabiners are great for attaching the bags to different setups, adding versatility to their use.The bags are made from durable polyester, which is water-resistant and won’t wear down easily. Each bag can hold up to 12 kg of weight, which is more than enough for my photography gear. Overall, they’re portable, tough, and provide excellent stability. Great for anyone who needs secure setups for filming or events! 🎥💼

Easy to use, easy to fill, will be great for my outdoor projector screen
Obviously October is not the weather for watching a projector in the garden so I've simply tested these bags for filling/hanging and not a long term durability in wind.I have a projector screen that has fairly flimsy tripods to hang off and the wind would frequently knock it over, so I've ordered these counterbalance bags simply to hang off the tripod to keep it in place. I've got an abundance of sand/soil so was able to pack the clear plastic bags with that, stuff them into the fabric bags, and it's clear the added weight will help.for other purposes (which I may or may not need in the future) these bags can be used as a counterweight for heavy lighting rigs. I do have some fairly heavy lights but haven't been using them on horizontal poles so the need hasn't arisen for that kind of feature. It's fairly obvious what these are for and they're good enough for me.
