Q: How do you measure out the product?

I use a measuring cup with ounces marked on it.

Q: Is this also safe to use on liners and shoulder gaurds?

Yes it is, although it is designed for waterproof, breathable fabrics, and is pricier than "regular" laundry products. I use detergent designed for baby clothes to wash saddle pads and blanket liners.

Q: How many ounces are in this bottle? Is it the 34 ounce size?

yes 34 oz. I can usually get to horse blanket washes out of the bottle.

Q: how many blankets/sheets does one bottle clean ?

many. i think the instructions say to use 5 fluid oz per blanket and this bottle contains almost 34 fluid oz. it's a great product!
