I love this bag! I'm not a 'handbag person' at all - as long as i like the look of it and it serves its purpose then I'm happy. I liked the look of this, it seemed a decent size, checking the measurements and realising it was a bit bigger than i wanted but that was fine.Now it's here and in daily use, it is totally serving its purpose, and i love the extra room.I have the strap worn long so that i can wear it across my body, the strap is very comfortable.The bag has 4 external, roomy, zipped pockets on the outside, which are very useful.It has 2 small sections - one on each end - which are elastic (not zipped) and are handy for a small bottle of drink or tissues.It then has the central compartment and in that it has a small, zipped pocket.Spot on for a casual, basic, black handbag and I'm very happy to recommend.UPDATE: 9/5/2017. I'm still using this bag, I still love it and it still has all the space I need.UPDATE: 6/12/2017. I still use this bag daily. It is not looking worn, nothing has broken, no threads hanging and the zips are still in perfect working order.I'm going to order another one more in a different colour.

Absolutely love this handbag!! I usually use quite a large shoulder bag to fit all my stuff in, but I walk to work and back every day and was fed up with having to hoist the shoulder strap all the time to stop it from sliding down, but now I have this brilliant cross body bag and my life has changed :) I was concerned that I may not fit all my stuff in it (two mobile phones, make up bag, sunglasses, purse, headache tablets and other little bits and bobs....but this bag is like the Tardis!! So much room and so many compartments! (it even has an elasticated pocket on each side of the bag to pop a brolly in!). It feels good quality too, really sturdy and well made, and is such a bargain price - I'm really tempted to buy it in the other colours too :)

I had been looking at this bag, and similar ones, for a little while and finally decided to order as it looked to have what I wanted - lots of zipped pockets! I carry a lot of stuff about with me but I like it to be organised, and this bag has more than enough pockets for me to do that.The woven material appears suitably robust for my needs, and I like that the zips are pretty chunky and seem sturdy. The strap is a good length and can be shortened to allow me to carry the bag snugly against my body, or lengthened to enable me to wear it cross body at just below hip length.The main internal part is big enough for me to carry a full make up bag, umbrella, glasses, phone, charger, packed lunch, current crochet project and other bits and pieces. There are a further 3 zip pockets on the front, one on the back, two small elasticated pockets, one at either side of the bag, and an internal zip pocket, so I can keep my purse, keys, documents, etc, in their place without having to rummage around the bottom of a bag.The bag is approx 11"x9"x7" when almost full and is big enough to hold all my items without being too big or bulky.I would have given 5 stars on my use of this bag so far but I've only been using it for a couple of weeks so can't say how the zips and stitching will stand up to prolonged use, although it certainly seems to be well made so far.

This bag was confused by a friend with her more expensive "brand" but which looked almost identical to this Messenger. This bag is just the right size for daily use and it is easy to keep clean and bug free

Excellent light, weight but with plenty of pockets and room for everything including a mac and umbrella - and the suncream. Also squashes into my rucksack when I'm off to the beach, and is lightweight enough to wear on my shoulder without causing neck problems. I am delighted with it.

Don't waste your money buying this product the smell once you open the bag is like a chemical diesel smell, not good for any ones health adults, children or pets. the smell will go if you air the product for a week or maybe 2 weeks so that the smell goes. But your buying a bag to us almost as soon as it comes buy amazon and not have to wait before you get the all clear to use it so doesn't give you a bad chest through the smell. Waste of time, money and beware of the smell.

I love this bag. It meets all my needs. If like me you need multiple pockets to find things easily then I would highly recomend this bag. The main part is just a perfect size too. It's not too deep so that you spend ages looking for things. I can just open any part of this bag and put my hand to what I want instantly without rumaging for ages. I'm considering getting another one in a different colour.

When this bag first came all the zips were half way across and looked broken but i gently pulled each one across and they all slotted into place and were good to go and have been absolutely fine. Ive been using it every day for about a week and love it it is very light but strong so the only weight comes from what you put in it. The strap has a good length and is wide enough to be comfortable. There is no dedicated phone pocket but there are so many that you can choose which suits best. There was no chemical smell as mentioned in other reviews. So far i am extremely pleased with my bag and would be happy to recommend it to others.
