I wasn't really sure about these items working, but I read A LOT of reviews and most were positive and got rid of pests. I got these to get rid of a mouse and any bugs in the house. I think the secret is to put them in every room. The noise is not that noticable even on the high setting. I have a small enclosed back porch where I think the mouse came in, so I have that one always on the high setting and don't hear it in any other part of the house. Been a week and no sign of the mouse! And, happily, no bugs.

I’ve had these now I guess about a week. I have two in the kitchen, I have one receptacles on each side of the kitchen sink, and one in every room. I had my over the sink light on, I’m about to get my morning tea when there is a young roach in front of the sink and in between two of the devices in the receptacles!!!!!! Unbelievable, I have spent so much money on these things and I’m now going to purchase bug devices that are guaranteed 3-5 yrs lifespan and are American made. When you live in FL you get roaches and they can be large roaches, different than up north, but I hate them and want them gone. So I’m going to order the ones guaranteed 3-5 years. If they last a year to me that’s a great guarantee!!!!!

So I've used things like this before and had no mouse issue. So now it's fall, I figured it's time to use these plug-ins again.I had a little concern about my 6 lb chihuaha being bothered by it... She seems okay.HOWEVER....My son is very bothered by it. He heard it as soon as he walked in the door from work. (I had it on the red setting.) At first he thought he was bugging out, hearing things, but then he saw the device plugged in, so he realized the noise he was hearing was coming from it. He described it as really hgih-pitched but sort of oscillating up and down in pitch.Next day... he's had to unplug them.I DO want him to move out, but I don't want to drive him insane.So, if you have people that can hear very high-pitch, they MIGHT be bothered by these things. Not just the pests.I'll have to use them only when he's not home.

Looks different, can't tell yet if it is working, starting 3rd week

I had a problem with spiders in my upstairs bathroom and nothing worked. When I received these, I plugged them in right away around my house and within 2 days the spiders were gone. I recommend these for any house.

My Grandkids complained the pitch was to high they always unplug or turn off..

I am visiting family and I thought this would keep the pest out, I also sprayed some home defense prior. Neither one seems to be working, just right now I have seen a big spider and it crawled underneath the couch. I am currently freaking out and very upset. I would advise you not to buy this product because it seems to be attracting more bugs and insects.
