WOW!
Robert was able to simplify the overwhelming topic/idea of culture. As a business owner it's kind of overwhelming where to start with culture. I like how he laid out the concepts in this book to really be a guide for implementation. Great read, easy to digest!

The right book at the right time for our company!
I would say I wish I had found this book sooner, but I believe our challenges and failures have taught me SO much. Instead, I will say this was the PERFECT time for Robert Richman's teachings to enter our company. As an EVP of People, this is such a HUGE topic for someone in my role and this book was better than any class I have taken. My team jumped on-board immediately. I am still working to push some of our Executive Team out of their comfort zones, this was a great step in coming up with a plan that resonated with everyone. In the book, Robert encourages readers to contact him. I was having an issue with the Pay to Leave Policy we wanted to implement at our company so I reached out. I was beyond WOWed to receive a response. I am a fan and will continue to give this book to every new leader that joins our team with the hope that they too will opt-in.

Important contribution to the literature on corporate culture
My company (Values Coach Inc.) helps our client organizations create what we call a Cultural Blueprint for their Invisible Architecture™ of core values, corporate culture, and workplace attitude and I’ve written about this in my books The Florence Prescription, All Hands on Deck, and The Cultural Blueprinting Toolkit. So I was obviously interested when I saw a book with the title The Culture Blueprint.Robert Richman has made a valuable contribution to the leadership literature and this is a book that I will be recommending to my clients. Richman provides a structured approach for evaluating and co-creating corporate culture based on his work with Zappos and with his own consulting clients. I was especially impressed with his chapter on the importance of core values and his description of the different types of values within an organization. And I could not agree more with his “true values test” which he says is this: “Are you willing to fire someone who does not fit the values, despite the performance?”Anyone who is concerned with creating a values-based organizational culture will find great ideas in this book. Well worth reading.

Interesting and educational
Although it is written in a simple and easy to understand language, I would appreciate a version translated into Spanish

Decent read but not great
Decent guide for those with little or no knowledge on the subject of culture. As an HR professional versed on culture, I didn’t gain much.

Yay - actual tactical advice!
Excellent tactical advice that provides a map to translate great ideas about culture into reality. So exciting to see a book with real ideas you can put into action immediately vs. just great ideas that leave it up to you to figure out how to move forward. I've already built amazing momentum based on some of the ideas contained in this book.
