NCAA Chrome Automobile Emblem

I barely got it today and put on my car. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. At one point, the reviews made me think I'd be returning it. For the price point it's just fine. You can't expect more when you're paying $10 or so. I can't tell you how it holds up in car washes, weather, etc, but again for $10 I'm not that worried.

This decal is a piece of black plastic molded into the script A logo and painted (?) chrome on the surface. The chrome finish looks good and shiny though. I only want to make the point that it is not metal all the way through. Mine came with a small piece (~ 1 cm) of foam on the back in the middle covered with an adhesive. I removed it so I can't comment on the strength of the adhesive, etc. I would be a little worried about its size. I cut out a piece of magnetic backing to fit the decal and used that instead. That seems to be working ok, but I can only get it to stick well on flat surfaces, otherwise only a portion of the magnetic backing is in contact with the car metal.Overall, I got what I expected, and it looks good. My only real complaint is that I found this for about $1 cheaper in a team shop the next week. Oh well.

Would give it a higher rating but the piece of tape on the back didn’t cover not even half of the emblem. Had to remove it because I was afraid it would fall off with such little amount and had to buy more double sided tape to cover the entire back. So this actually came out more expensive.

I have this to my son when he was a senior at UofSC. He said he had seen them before and liked it. He loved having his own! Stayed on through the heat of our southern summer. Would recommend.

Adhesive is weak

Nice & bright chrome like finish & very strong magnet.
