This Brabantia replacement ironing board cover has the foam lining attached, which means no messing around with cutting the foam to size - it is really easy to fit this cover and took me just minutes!! The look and quality is just brilliant - this is definitely the one to buy!

I purchased this cover for a very old ironing board. The original cover slotted under the iron stand but I was unable to find one to fit. I chose this one to fit over the board and iron stand and because it was advertised as a complete set, so no need to buy more felt. The fit is good and easily adjustable for a non-standard ironing board size. Ironing is smooth and easy. However, as noted by other reviewers, the Amazon description states it is 4mm foam and 4mm felt. The product packaging states it is 8mm foam, so it is not as described. It is therefore not a complete set. Given the cost I did not want to buy more felt, so fitted it over my old cover. I contacted Brabantia through Amazon but they have not responded in over a week. So overall a good product but let down by the lack of felt and a misleading description.

I’ve had none genuine covers for my 17 year old Brabantia board and they just don’t quite fit tightly/correctly. This one is super easy to fit and stays put, no wrinkling at all. It’s a foam backed cover and a felt pad so the 8mm is a combination of both. If you already have a felt pad you might get away with a thinner, less expensive cover.The one thing I wasn’t happy with was that my last one of these developed a hole and I’d got rid of the packaging when I fitted it so had forgotten it has a 2 year warranty. I don’t iron a lot so it shouldn’t really have developed the hole, but definitely keep a note of your purchase date. Had I realised I could have saved myself the cost of a new one by claiming. As it was I left it until it became a bigger hole and was out of warranty!

This cover fits perfectly and has made the ironing board look brand new again. I can’t believe how smart it looks. I almost like ironing now.

Stitches are starting to come away after a few weeks think I might have needed the next size although it fits perfectly
