Bad translation of the book
It is hard to read and understand thus book due to the bad translation. I tried many time to resume reading it but after few pages I put down the book. I wish there was a better translation of the book.

Short, not too hard to read, interesting
Of Agrippa's 3 Occult Philosophy books, this one may be the most well known and read. Based generally on medieval astrology, Natural Magic gives the author's take on occultism and where power is derived from naturally, with working knowledge of the forces in the universe.Agrippa writes that everything on earth is divided into the 4 elements (earth, air, water and fire). The positioning of the stars and planets in the celestial world holds sway over things and events in the terrestrial world. He gives exhaustive lists of plants, animals, metals, stones, materials and objects that are associated with different planets and their influence. By gathering of these materials, arranging and mixing them according to the constellations and manipulating the elements, one can channel his magical will and wield control over 'inferior bodies.'lt's 290 pages, but not really. There are about 100 pages of other material, including a preface and introduction by the translator, as well as a 70 page review by another writer at the end of Agrippa's piece. So make that 190 pages for the actual book length.Overall, l personally didn't care much for this volume. lt isn't that bad, but just isn't that good in my opinion. lt's short and has alot of filler material. Agrippa can ramble on with the best of them. lt's also only 1 book of the author's Occult Philosophy trilogy, which l didn't immediately realize when l bought it. It still has historical occult significance and is a decent, quick read along one's journey toward obscure knowledge.
