powerful security system
There's a hiccup at the beginning when I tried to set up the system. Somehow the system locked me out. I had to follow the user guide to contact their customer support to get the super password. Once I login to the system, it's pretty easy to set up the system. Then I hooked up two cameras. The system works very well. I'm going to buy a hard drive and install it later. Mobile app is straightforward to set up too. I probably don't need a monitor any more.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The video quality of the security camera is very clear. I found out that the system is compatible with other cameras too. That is definately a plus for me.

Email alerts lack pictures :(
I have some experience with similar kits so install was simple. The price was great. The picture quality is good. The NVR is stable and reliable. A 4 or 5 star kit except...The motion alert emails do not include pictures. This makes it extremely difficult to find why the motion alert was triggered. This is a deal breaker if you intend to use this kit for security. This critical feature absence would reduce the rating to a 1-2 star, but I'm holding out hope for a firmware update...

Doesn't even power on
Returning back to amazon unit doesn't even power on. Stay with name brands. Wish I could leave 0 stars.
