Looks like it will do the job
I’m really excited to try this product. I have a couple of small peach trees that I want to protect. But in all honesty, our weather hasn’t gotten cold enough yet to need this. That being said, the fabric seems of sufficient weight to give my trees a protection that they need. When I ordered it, I couldn’t tell from the photo if it was made of plastic- type fabric. But I can assure you, this is actually a fabric, similar to that used in reusable shopping bags. I really like the fact that it has a double zipper, which will make it easier to put on the tree. The drawstring at the bottom will prevent the cold from seeping up. In the past, I have tried to using old sheets clip together and tied at the bottom with mix success. This looks so much better.

Nice Cover...Hopefully it Lasts
This cover is huge (it is true to its stated dimensions). I plan to use it to cover several potted plants when there are frost advisories/warnings. Therefore, the zipper will not do me much good. I can see the advantage in the zipper if I was wrapping a tree. The drawstring at the bottom of the bag will be advantageous even for my usage around potted plants. My main concern is the durability of the bag. The material has me concerned that it will not hold up for multiple seasons. Time will tell. If I had more confidence in durability, this would be a five-star review.

Generous-sized plant cover compared to others
I got this plant cover in preparation for this winter’s freeze. The size is very generous at 83” H x 71” W, big enough for a 6-ft tall tree. The cover is shaped like a bag with zipper on the 83” side (vertically), and drawstring at the bottom. I was unsure if the stated measurements are the dimensions of the zipped or unzipped cover. Let me assure you that the stated dimension is with the bag zipped (if unzipped, the actual dimension is twice as wide). If you unzip the cover, it is large enough to cover multiple bushes or shrubs. The material used is 1-ply similar to the ones used for reusable shopping bags (see attached pic). I am very happy to have gotten this in preparation for the winter, and I really hope it works well & lasts!

huge like a duvet cover
It is not easy trying to get to the stage where I have fresh fruit to pick from my tree. For me, it's a constant battle of protecting the young trees from gophers, insects, over/under watering, sun damage and now looming frost. Last winter there was about four or five nights when the temperatures dipped to a dangerous 31 degrees. And if the frost catches you offguard and you are not prepared, you can lose some plants. Throwing old sheets on top was not effective enough. It also made my yard an eyesore. This year I'm going to be prepared and cover my delicate plants and trees for the entire frost season if the plant allows. I won't know until the end of January how well the bags did but I've invested too much time cultivating my garden. The bag is gigantic. laying flat, it looks like a bed comforter. I have a newly planted citrus tree hedge with frost sensitive limes planted five feet apart and this bag will cover two of them. I can also use it on a variety of other plants and trees as well. The large size makes it quite versatile. I don't know what is special about the material, it reminds of a light canvas but green. It reminds me of fabric that cheap promotional tote bags are made of. It takes only one frost to do damage so the trick is to make sure these are over the plant. I will report back when frost season ends if I have any important news to relay. For the time being, I can't say much else.

HUGE bag!
Winter is coming and I have started collecting some frost/freeze protection bags. This bag is well made, easy to use and true to the listed dimensions; I tried it on my tree when I received it just to make sure it would fit. The fabric is dense, the zipper works well and the stitching is close. The zipper runs from the bottom of the bag up to about 8 inches from the top of the bag. I completely unzipped the bag, threw it over the tree and then zipped the bag shut. There are strings at the bottom of the bag that can be pulled shut to secure the bag to the trunk of the tree. This will definitely provide some protection from the winter elements when I need to use it.

very nice
This is a great size for complete coverage of my large potted plant. The material is very sturdy and the zipper drawstring is a great plus.

Great for pushing my growing zone!
I have several of these jumbo size bags. This one does not disappoint. The fabric is nice and thick, the zipper is long, making it easy to slide this bag over a large plant. The string at the bottom makes it easy to secure the bag at the trunk of the tree or around a pot. Typically, I use these for my young mango trees and on my dragon fruit trellises on the rare occasion that temperatures drop below freezing. I am lucky enough to not have to worry about the weight of snow on the bag. When I do use these, I secure the string to a landscape staple to keep the bag from blowing around on those windy days.

If handled carefully, should last
Looks good. It hasn't frosted yet but will use it horizontally to cover several potted plants. It looks like, it will be reusable if handled carefully. Not super sturdy.
