ASICS Unisex SUPERBLAST 2 Running Shoes

If you demand a running shoe that has excellent midsole cushioning and a great feeling response, the Asics Superblast 2 is one of the few that exceed my expectations. Superb comfort with dual-layer FF Turbo Plus atop FF Blast Plus Eco foam (and yes I had to look that up), it's the lightest weight shoes i've ever owned. It feels like both of these together weights as much as one Ultraboost 1.0. It's high-stack design was strange for what I'm used to but after even a few minutes, I get the hype: effortless transitions across paces and distance. Mesh upper is super breathable and secure. The 'AsicsGrip premium compound' outsole offers better traction and resists pebble ingress over the Superblast 1 both functionally and in durability. In short, the Superblast 2 not only excels as a do-it-all super-trainer, a complete package of cushioning, stability, and endurance (and it looks great). The price is hefty, but these are my favorites, definitive five-star commitment for serious runners.

There is a reason they were the shoe of the year when they were released. They live up to All the Hype. They are light, comfortable, durable and versatile.

I’ve worn asics kayanos for over 30 years, but decided to try something new. These feel very different. The first thing you notice is the cushioning and the bounce when you heel strike. But the trade off is a little bit less stability. They are lighter too. Fit seems pretty spot on. Tongue is thinner than other running shoes. So far runs still feel good, I’m interspersing with Kayano 30s. The lightness is noticeable on longer runs. Ask me which I prefer in six months, as at the moment both feel great to run in. UPDATE: I ended up giving these to my son. I found that the foam sole is less stable for my knees, and I was starting to have pains in my knee joint. They are not a bad shoe, but for me personally I will stick with my kayanos. He likes them and loves how light they are!!

This Asics model is one of the most comfortable pair in my collection of tennis shoes. Great arch support, hugs around your foot nicely; but not too tight. Didn’t think I would like the sole extending past the heal. Don’t even notice when walking or running. One of Asics best styles.

Believe the hype. Light weight, comfortable, high quality, very durable. Cushioning actually improves over time - feels better than new at over 120 miles.

I've heard only great things about this shoe but after getting it and running 40 miles in it, I'm not that impressed yet. Maybe the more miles, the more they'll break in. I feel like they're really durable and they are comfortable, but for the price, I prefer other shoes such as the Adidas Evo SL and the Nike Vomero Plus in terms of comfort and type of runs I'd use it for. I would not buy again. It's not a bad shoe, it's just not worth the cost to me.

Best running shoe I have owned. I have done all kids of runs in these shoes. They do well for speedy(ish) 5ks and slow and steady 20 milers. I’ve probably put about 500 miles on them and besides some dirt they’re not very worn down.

Shoes themselves are a five. Great bounce on the ball and cushion on the heel. Small heel wobble on change of direction. Order from ASICS! My first order I didn’t check and a third party vendor sent me used/returned shoes in a bag?!? Amazon accepted return no problem. Then I made sure it was through ASICS and all was well.

Experienced marathon runner here. Ran countless half marathons and a few full marathons. Been running a few years now.biught my first pair of asics 2 years ago. Got 5 pairs in total and every trainer I've bought has got progressively better... The gel nimbus 23 did me proud, the gel nimbus 24 was great, the novablast 3 was amazing. I thought they couldn't get much better than them but moving onto the super blasts asics have somehow managed to further improve an already incredible running trainer...the bounce and the comfort is next level, it almost feels like the trainer is throwing you forward into your strides. Running has always been comfortable with the asics shoes I've been using but these are like pillows on my feet and my performance feels better than ever. Can't recommend enough for long distance runners!

Bereits den Novablast 4 in Besitz und wollte ein Upgrade. Sehr guter Schuh und die Dämpfung aber auch Response und nochmal ein ganz anderes Level! Perfekter Laufschuh. Nutze ihn als Rotation mit dem Novablast. Preis Leistung sehr gut!

Świetna jakość wykonania. Idealne dla cięższych osób (80+ kg), osoby lżejsze mogą narzekać na twardość. W porównaniu do innych Asicsów musiałem kupić o 0,5 rozmiaru większe. Pasują również na szerszą stopę po rozluźnieniu wiązania na śródstopiu. Bardzo uniwersalne - od dłuższych wybiegań po szybsze jednostki.
