5.1 delight
This product gets mixed reviews. First up download the manual, this is essential to make the correct adjustments. Bluetooth works a treat & connects up the surrounds and sub automatically on switching on. I have this connected to an Atmos/DTS-X tv via eARC hdmi which provides 2 way information. The main criticism is that the bass is way to heavy & it is! Crazy heavy! Go to the menu by holding down the >|| button then scroll through the sub menu to the Neural setting & switch it off, this is poorly implemented & gives too much bass, then still in the menu select Bass Boost & switch that off too, that largely deals with the ridiculous bass that comes preset. I also have the bass set low on the handset (bottom left). Other reviewers complain about the rear surround speakers volume being too low, hold down the SURR button for a few seconds and increase the volume to the surrounds till you get the desired balance. The EQ button sets a nice base level when selected to movies on Amazon Prime, when listening to Amazon Music I set the EQ to not surpringly music. These implementations work well. I find the sound quality of the system is excellent. One other criticism some have is a hum from the rear speakers. I have not noticed this, but I have installed ferrite chokes on all 3 power cables just before the box plug ins, I also put a choke on the speaker cable at the entry to the left speaker. Chokes are easy to place & require no technical knowledge. I can't recommend this product highly enough, well worth €210 as it performs well above expectations

Great voice clarity to enhance my TV listening experience
I bought the soundbar to compliment my newly purchased 50” TV. I didn't want to much bass (I am on a top floor flat) and opted for one with out a separate sub-woofer for this reason. I also struggle to hear some clarity of words using the tv speakers especially if there is quite a bit of background noise or an action movie etc. Now first impressions of this speaker are very positive, in my opinion it is definitely a big step up on the TV speakers and I certainly can hear clearly the voice dialogue without needing the volume up too high. There is also a nice balance of bass (not a tinny sound) when watching a film or listening to music. The soundbar syncs well with my TV (also a Hisense), and the TV controls do alter the sound (without need for the bar controls). When I turn on my TV it takes 5 to 10 seconds for the bar to turn on with a notification prompt saying power on. The whole set-up process took no time simply plug in, connecting via HDMI provided and away you go. On the whole I am pleased my purchase, under £80 (sale was £66) seems very good value for what you are getting. You can spend a whole lot more and I am not sure that I could tell the difference when comparing to more expensive brands. It does look a little bit chunky (sturdy) but not offensive, fits well on my lower cabinet and again the quality of sound, bass, treble and voice clarity is very good for the price point. The build quality overall is good. For this reason it gets a full 5 stars, if you want a good value speaker to enhance your TV speakers then this certainly meets your requirements. I have added a 40 second video to try and demonstrate the sound on my TV for music and other channels. As this is taken from my phone it is perhaps not the best reflection but I believe it captures the voice clarity.

Great after some quality control issues
Overall I rate this sound bar 9/10 ( -1 for quality control of originally received items that had to be returned) Value 9.9/10 -0.1 V small chance that you might find something branded that is better in the price range Performance 9/10 -1 Bass can be slightly overdone especially while using BT on some units ( adjustable ) Build Quality 9/10 -1 One of the units I kept had an slight mark on the remote and a button that Features 9/10 -1 Voice guidance is a bit quirky more voice options would be a + Warranty 9.5/10 -0.5 For possible extra warranty . 2 year still very good for the type of product Returns 10/10 Comfortable knowing any problems will be dealt with without quibble by Amazon or Hisense Originally Bought two sound bars to pair up with our new Hisense E7pro 144hz 50" + 43" TV's (Living room and sons bedroom) its another story but both those TV's had faults and had to be returned . The 50" developed a green stuck pixel after just a few days use . From the start the image also looked out of focus causing an uncomfortable squinting sensation while watching content . Coil whine while in standby mode was unbearable although with the unit switched on it was ok . The only solution would have been to turn the power off at the plug while not in use ( inconvenient ). Colour and brightness settings out of the box looked bad and even after adjustments they still seemed out . Returned unit to the seller for an exchange and the new unit is perfect like night and day . All the functions work as advertised and the onboard system is snappy . Loads of useful functions ability to add all kinds Bluetooth devices ( earphones speakers etc .... ) voice control . Gaming and using a high end PC through it is a great experience some older SD content can be a bit clunky in HD or 4K high refresh rate gaming it really shines The 43" Had a small scratch on the glass screen that we noticed while peeling the screen film off . While trying it out noticed it was slightly superior to the 50" in colour + brightness . SD tracking of dark scenes looked a bit better. Both screens have VA panels which have their advantages and disadvantages and there are limited low price high refresh rate tv's on the market . I find the colours, use of brightness and blacks are better than an ips TV ( UHD led ) providing the viewing angle doesn't exceed 45 degree's which it doesn't in my situation . The 50" struggles occasionally on some dark scenes to track the image it rarely happens in HD or 4k content on either set but the 43" is clearly better probably due to its size . The positives using it for gaming far outweigh the negatives of some of the SD content tried . The settings menu's can be individually adjusted which is very convenient once fully setup . Game mode works and the menu's are useful 120hz/FPS tony hawks is awesome on PS5 . 4k counterstrike 144hz/FPS running from gaming pc with 4070ti Super 16gb is excellent Both TV's now fine after replacement and soo are the HS2000 sound bars. faults listed on those below The First unit was curved slightly the unit would not sit level on my TV unit with either side floating . The controller had scratches on it and several inconsistent button switches. The sound bar itself also had noticeable scratching around the function buttons on both top panels and the remote. Sound wise it was bad . The bass was uncontrollable even at the lowest settings without surround sound on especially while using Bluetooth. The whole unit vibrated like crazy absolute nightmare fail . The Second unit was in perfect condition but the remote had a few inconsistent switches. Sound wise it had much less bass than the first unit but the right hand side of the unit made a rattling noise with very little volume like something was loose inside . It weighed 30g less than the first unit strangely ?? The Third unit is perfect sound is huge , surround sound is great . Even while playing heavy bass tracks using Bluetooth with the bass turned up full I tried at FULL volume to test there is no noticeable vibration or distortion . Bass is punchy . Sound is room filling , clear and vibrant. Ideal for a party . Using hdmi arc everything works through the TV remote voices are clear and sound is even better than while using BT. Bass comes in when it should but the many settings mean if your having a quiet movie night it can be toned down without detriment . I was shockingly surprised how much better it sounds than the TV's speaks although it lacks Dolby atoms the surround sound works well to throw the sound and highlight normally unnoticeable noises. Value for money 10/10 Only negative is it came in demo mode which took a while to find out how to turn off . Weight same as second unit The Fourth unit is 98% perfect on the same settings it has just a bit more bass than the third unit but much less than the first . Its only noticeable when using bluetooth but its still not overdone . One button on the remote was inconsistent with all of the others but is still fine and usable . Weight same as the first unit . Few points id mention when using an iphone with bluetooth using the volume up or down on the iphone turns the sound up in multiple increments at a time . Using the supplied controller or slider bar on the iphone defeats this . I find it a bit of a quirk like the regional accent of the voice prompt which we find highly amusing . If Hisense kept the price reasonable ( below £100 ) and introduced this product with some extra voice profiles and some RGB lighting focussing more on gamers I think it would be a near absolute perfection . The styling is nice and modern compared to my BOSE solo series II and I can confirm that the sound better louder clearer and has more bass. . In conclusion the Hs2000 and E7 pro TV combo is a winner for the price standing upto and exceeding performance and quality of some well established brands that are might I add far above its price point . It could be I was just unlucky with quality control on some of the items received aside from that I'm very satisfied .

I am impressed with the improvement in Audio quality from my TV speakers
This is the first soundbar I have purchased. I have a 55" Samsung TV with an OK sound output. The Hisense HS2100 was offered at a great price. It is easy to set-up with a mains lead to the soundbar and a second mains lead to the subwoofer. I use an optical cable to connect TV to Soundbar, there are many other options. Switch it on, the Soundbar confirms is is connected to the TV and 2 seconds later it confirms connection to the Subwoofer. The improvement is sound is amazing. Voices are much clearer, you can hear all the detailed background sounds which the TV missed and the Subwoofer gives a great sense of atmosphere when watching movies like Harry Potter. I have a good HiFi system so I can tell that this Soundbar is very good. Amazing value at £80, highly recommended.

A good all in one Soundbar
We hummed & hawed about for ages about the soundbar we needed to buy & read many reviews. Our only criteria we needed an ‘all in one’ to replace a Sony soundbar with separate subwoofer which we’d paid quite a bit for but only lasted 7yrs. The subwoofer died no power going to it whatsoever & in the last few years even the tv engineers couldn’t get the soundbar to switch on with the tv, so many remotes had to be out just to get everything up & running. So what a joy this Hisense HS200 has turned out to be. Everything was easy (well nothing these days comes with instructions you can peruse - my only criticism, you need to look it up online). That said it came with a wall template for screwing to the wall & a quick set up guide. We put in the plug connected the hdmi cable & we’re up & running, no other controls needed, switches on & off with the tv & it announces that the soundbar is on or off accordingly. We don’t have an over large room so didn’t need the extra speakers but the sound is fine & for the price a really good buy, so much so I’ve even recommended it to a friend.

Well made and easy to operate
Plug and play makes this even better. The various sound systems offered are great and make the world of difference to listening instead of relying on the TV built-in speakers. The remote works well and is easy to use. Very pleased as even this non-techie person like me can use it OK.

Amazing for the money!
I got this as my Sony seemed to have an issue with the built in speaker on the right hand side. This was really easy to install, I was actually surprised how much things have moved on from the days of yore where you had to wire every speaker in your 5.1 across your room. I guess you still need power but one less cable. The subwoofer to my amazement was wireless! In terms of connectivity, I opted to use HDMI ARC. The experience is virtually plug and play. There is a delay when starting the TV, about 10 seconds as a voice tells you power on and then paired and connected. The device does not have a standby mode which your TV most likely does. After maybe 45min-1h the soundbar will disconnect from the TV. You need to manually restart it or restart the TV. Occasionally, it will says power on. I believe this is only common with OLED TVs like mine as they are never off and shortly after shutting it off a pixel refresh function begins. This might end up scaring you when your TV eventually does a long pixel refresh (depends on brand but could be once 2 months) and turns the speakers on in the middle of the night. The audio quality is excellent, it’s very bass heavy. I have the bass turned down but I also live in a flat. The treble is good enough, perhaps somewhat tinny but very good compared to built in speakers albeit broken in my case. The speakers are very loud, or rather not very linear in volume setting. In my case the system takes over the inbuilt one and the TV knows that. The remote even controls the “Sound System”, therefore it’s not possible to create a buffer on the volume by using the remote to reduce to source output. I’m sure it will be somewhere in the settings but I’m too lazy to check. As a result, my other working Sony can be up to 45 on certain movies. With these speakers I don’t go above 10. As such, with a louder source like Spotify I can often be on 2 or 3. At nighttime or when someone is sleeping even 1 seems slightly too loud. The size is very acceptable and of standard for this type of product I’d say. Just a long bar that’s wall mountable and a rather compact subwoofer. The materials are plastic but they look nice enough. Once set up you’d never touch it anyway. The “interface” consist of an LED through which you adjust certain EQ settings. This is fairly straightforward again but perhaps not very precise as the setting is translated through the brightness of the LED light. So not very precise. You need two 3 pin plug sockets as the subwoofer has its own power supply. This makes this slightly less versatile but certainly manageable. For the price you pay for this you can’t get better really. Nothing to complain about. I’d recommend this if you’re looking to improve sound quality of TV on a budget. It has won numerous award for best value for money soundbar too. Sure, you can get a £500 one but if it’s for a spare room etc there no need really. This is more than capable.

Good but with some cons
First of all let's get into some hidden options, press and hold the surround button to adjust the surround speakers volume. Press and hold the play/pause button to access more options. In there I suggest turning off Neural X and Virtual X, by doing this the surround speakers will behave as surround speakers for a good immersive sound, also speech will finally be centered and much clearer. It seems the Neural X system is poorly implemented and incorrectly tuned for the system with no way to tweak it, so just turn it off for the proper surround sound experience. Also by default bass boost is enabled, if you want more control over the bass then turn it off. Doing this results in a pleasant bass experience with a good balance even on low setting. When surround sound comes out in movies, they sound really good, very immersive, particularly once you have your surround speakers volume set how you like it. An issue I noted though is when on quiet scenes with just speech coming from the front, there is a small hissing sound coming from the surround speakers. I have gotten used to it, but just be aware, there also seems to be no way to remedy this issue. I briefly spoke to Hisense about the hissing and the unbalanced sound (before I had worked out how to fix the unbalanced sound myself) hoping there may have been a firmware update, they advised me there was no firmware available for the soundbar. This is quite disappointing because clearly the current firmware has some issues. After asking for further details and pictures and videos of my problem, they went silent even though they had suggested that a firmware update to control the soundbar could be available for a hisense tv (which I am using). It's unfortunate they chose to just stop communicating. My TV though does have a basic menu show for the soundbar offering control over bass, treble, equaliser, surround mode and dimmer, it does not offer any more than the soundbar remote does. The volume control seems slightly flawed too, the difference in volume between 5 and 2 is nothing, between those it does not change. Instead going from 2 to 1 there is a big drop in volume and going from 5 to 6 results in a jump increase. I am not sure how they missed this. Since this is for my bedroom, I have never needed to go above 10 so I can't comment on differences in the higher range volumes, for me this is not deal breaking but shows a lack of care in hisense tweaking the firmware. Despite the flaws, I do like this for the money. After digging around and finding the hidden menu it sounds really good for surround content, I just wish Hisense would provide a firmware to fix the poorly implemented Neural X software and clean up the signal to the surround speakers when there is little or no sound coming from them when watching content (they do not produce noise when no content is being played). Compared to a previous soundbar I purchased and returned for similar money, this sounds great once adjusted. Just be sure you access the menu by pressing and holding play/pause and tweak settings in there to your liking for a much better experience than the default configuration out of the box.

Top Surround Sound & fair Prince
For German version see below. For the price you get a good surround system without amplifier and cables. All speakers only need electric power and connect automatically. The woofer is very loud. I have therefore decoupled it with additional feet so that the floor does not vibrate. I also put a sock in the bass reflex hole. This gives me a clean bass that doesn't disturb the neighbors. In contrast to other comments, I have noticed the following differences. The rear speakers are very loud. It is enough for me if they are set to +2 according to the instructions. The speakers also don't blink all night when you switch the soundbar off, just a few seconds. For the fair price, you get immersive surround sound. The purchase was worth it for me.

Perhaps fake!
I bought a similar soundbar and make before. Very hollow sound and some Chinese mumbling on and off. I don't believe this an original product, by Hisense. Bought a lot of Hisense items in my life and the first time I'm not happy.
