Very smooth
I had bought three mice before… But each one continued to jitter on my computer screen, and sometimes when I scrolled, it would scroll the wrong way at first and then start scrolling the right way. So I ponied up and bought this slightly more expensive mouse, and I do not regret it at all, very nice product… Very smooth and easy to use. Slightly more heavy than the cheapo light ones I was using before.

Outstanding wired mouse
It is surprisingly difficult to find in stock a good, brand-name wired mouse with any advanced features. My new desktop (yes, I know, that demonstrates my age) came with a mouse and keyboard. The included mouse was a little undersized, with very basic click options. I've really been spoiled by some of the now-common features that Logitech builds into its products. The extra control buttons, tilt scroll wheel, comfortable design. I have not had good luck with inexpensive mice sourced from no-name factories. And I do like the no-nonsense connection made with the computer from a wired mouse; in some situations, a Bluetooth wireless doesn't perform as well or at all.If you can find one, this Logitech mouse is a good choice.

Great mouse.
Comfortable in the hand and works great. Bought this when my old mouse became erratic. Bought this and it solved my problems.

Great mouse but the buttons wear out quick
This is my favorite mouse. Unfortunately, I've had to buy quite a few of them because after regular usage the buttons will stop working properly. When you click it either doesn't work or double clicks. I've never had this issue with any other mouse. I tried repairing it once but that didn't work. Thankfully they're cheap enough that you can just buy a new one but I wish that wasn't necessary.

Exactly perfect
This was better than expected. Love the smooth use with the functions of the mouse.

Almost perfect
I loved that the packaging had pull tabs so that no scissors/knives were necessary to open the package.I was about to write some negative comments about the scroll-wheel until I went through the setup tutorial that came with the software. The button on the top of the mouse changes the scroll-wheel from free scrolling and spinnable to having the discrete intervals to allow for single-line scrolling. The ability to toggle between these is amazing. My only gripe so far is, the side-buttons (most often "forward" and "back") are a little to far back, or maybe too high. Reaching them with your thumb is a bit awkward, especially the "back" button. This probably isn't a mouse you would buy for gaming but, if you did, the amount you have to shift your grip to hit those buttons would probably be a factor. The length and height of the mouse is good. For my hand, if I were to change it any, I would make it a bit wider.

Decent, not a gaming mouse, a bit lacking
This is my first impression shortly after receiving it, I bought this mouse for someone else and haven't used it much. I plan on updating this review if the mouse breaks or stops working in any way.It is a decent mouse, good enough for most office workers or people who mainly use their PC/mac for basic tasks like browsing the web, checking mail, maybe an occasional Office doc, etc. ; for basic, not super-users.The software works just as well on a mac as it does on a PC. It has the standard buttons plus two additional buttons for forward and back (default behavior) when browsing the web or navigating computer folders; the logitech software needs to be downloaded and installed or the additional buttons won't do anything on a Mac. A nice additional feature is that you can press the side of the scroll-wheel to the left or right to scroll to that side; this comes in handy on wide web pages or folders. Another nice feature is that all buttons are programmable, although it doesn't make sense to re-program the left and right mouse button unless you want to become unable to use it as a mouse - in theory, you could reverse the function of those buttons for people who are left handed, however, the mouse is shaped for the right hand and it would be uncomfortable to use. It is an ergonomic mouse, so it is sculpted to fit the right hand, and it feels a lot nicer than your regular basic mouse. The nicest feature is most likely the "free-scrolling" mode of the scroll wheel, which lets you smoothly and quickly (or slowly) move through web pages, documents, and folders at a flick of the wheel, rather than being restrained to slow repeated uniform scrolling; this feature makes it worth it to buy this mouse over the other basic mice that Logitech sells. Now on to the negative points...Despite being advertised as having adjustable DPI, there is no physical button on the mouse for it, making it unable to quickly switch on the fly; therefore it is not well suited for gaming. It only has two additional buttons on the side (unless you count the sides of the scroll wheel), so again, if you are a super-user or gamer, you may find that a bit lacking. And the free-scrolling mouse wheel is not like on the Revolution MX. Instead of the mouse auto-enabling it or clicking the wheel to enable "free-scroll" mode, you need to manually click the button behind the scroll wheel whenever you want to switch it.All in all it is a decent basic-to-mid tier mouse for the average user, even if it cost $10 more than it should for a basic mouse with these features.

Reliable and works on almost any surface.
This mouse is very dependable. This is the second time I've bought this model or a very similar model from Logitech. My first mouse lasted over 6 years even with heavy use and constantly knocking it on the floor. This mouse also works on almost any surface without any issues, no mousepad needed which is great for travel to use with your laptop. I've used it on wooden tables, marble tables, table cloth with various patterns and colours. The cursor on the screen remained smooth with no hiccups regardless of the surface I was using.Well worth the money, I would highly recommend.

Great mouse, left-click button has failed twice
Bought in August 2020, replaced 18 months later under warranty because single clicks were sometimes registering as double clicks. By February 2024 the left button on the replacement mouse is intermittently not holding when clicking and dragging. I tried compressed air and other fixes but no luck. It's still my favourite mouse so I will likely buy another and hope that problems with previous mice were due to Covid supply chain issues.

Great mouse
Logitech always makes great products. You can change the settings of the mouse through the logi software, being able to choose the side button controls and the sensitivity of the mouse movement

Great no-nonsense mouse
I use this mouse for work and for play, and it's perfect. It has no LED's, no wireless dongles, and no extraneous macro buttons I'll never use. It's just a nice, comfortable, quality mouse.
