This baby play gym is adorable! The cute little mobiles are soft and brightly colored. Some even squeek. I like that the cross bars are also very padded and soft, yet they are very sturdy and strong. I tried squeezing them to see what was inside them that allowed them to hold up so well. They definitely are not floppy. Near the bottom where they attach to the pad it appears there is some sort of strong flexible thin tubing. The cross bars came curled up and folded like a pretzel so once opened they could easily be curled up again for storage or transport. I think the star shaped pad is sufficiently padded and large enough for a little one. I can see this being great entertainment for a little one as well as helping with eye-hand coordination development. I have an invite for an upcoming baby shower but I also have a new granddaughter too. Now I am in a real delemma as to do I want to gift this or keep it here for my granddaughter. I just might have to get another one!

After I got this, I put it out and it took him a few to get used to it but now my grandson loves laying underneath it and playing with the toys. Instructed and doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall apart and fall down on my grandson.

This baby play mat is great. the 8 month old loves this mat. I like how soft it is and he loves the toys. The mat is easy to wash and dry. I used the gentle cycle and dried it in the dryer on low. I don't know how long this will hold his attention but for now it does.

Soft on the skin. Easy to set up. Goes great with the aviation and space them. The space man squeaks. Just the right size for him! Only wish the toys dangled lower or were adjustable so he could actually reach them at this age.
