This is a nice-looking glass bowl for serving side dishes and salads or to use for some food storage that adds a bit of class to your kitchen. The glass bowl and wood top seem sturdy and well-made. The only downside I found was that the lid is quite tight and difficult to remove. Aside from that, it's a nice-looking addition to my kitchen.

There is no seam in the glass, it is a single piece of glass.The bowl is slightly more than 4.25" H with the wood lid on, and 4" glass bowl without the lid.The lid sits flush with the glass bowl, and both are 8" in diameter.The wood lid has a rubber gasket to provide a really good airtight seal, but I wouldn't turn it upside down. The top of the lid is flat, and you can put something on top. This appears to be a high quality bowl.

This is a good looking 108oz (3.3 quart) glass bowl with a nice tight wooden lid that has a rubber seal. I love this glass bowl! I make a lot salad but I don't like storing it in plastic containers. This glass bowl is perfect for me because it doesn't alter the taste of the vegetables and is easy to clean. I like that I can use this bowl for my lunch or to store fruit. The air tight lid is great for keeping the salad or fruit fresh and crisp. The bowl has a nice weight without being too heavy and is easy to take on the go. I am very pleased with this well made and good looking glass bowl and lid and I would recommend it.

The cover or the base fits nicely on mine. I really enjoyed opening this up, it is beautiful. I plan to use this for Thanksgiving dinner or for pot luck meals to share. The size is a bit small for the price but I didn't look at the measurements at first. This would fit a green salad nicely, or a trifle or used as a fruit bowl. the glass is solid and very sturdy. The overall bowl is a great addition to our kitchen!

Great quality! I washed it in the dishwasher and the rubber rim didn't come off like some of those type dishes.10/10 and will probably get more!

So I ordered this to be used to a salad bowl, but my husband has taken it over as a cheese bowl! He uses the top as his cheese, cutting board and the inside for cheeses and dips. The cover fits so firmly in place that I had a bit of a time taking it apart. The seal is so unbelievably tight! I have never had a lid that fits so tightly.The glass is a bit thicker so my concern with breaking isn’t too great.Excellent bowl to have on hand!
