I wanted a small backpack to take with us on vacation and be able to fill up with things for day-trips. I honestly hadn't paid much attention when I ordered this one and was thrilled to see that it comes rolled & zipped up into its own little built-in pouch; perfect to toss into the suitcase & take up only a tiny bit of space, but opens up into a nice-sized day pack; not too big and not too small. We haven't actually taken the vacation yet so it's sitting in my closet all zipped up in its little pouch just waiting to go on an adventure. The materials seem nice & durable, and it's a nice looking bag. Of course it's built just for that purpose; if you want a heavy duty durable backpack for daily or heavy use, this probably isn't a good choice. But as the title says, if you are looking for a "lightweight packable daypack", this definitely seems to be just the item.

Made my back a little sweaty but other than that it's a good little backpack. Zippers all move smoothly and it's the perfect size and weight for a short hike. I like that it folds up so I can keep it in my car. Seems well made so far.
