I like this version because the hair gets wrapped either on the top part completely or just goes all the way through it doesn’t go through and gets twisted in the old version drain that has the metal strainer that was screwed on it, so the hair could screw around it too so eventually you’ll have rolls of hair wrapped around that too which will then attract other gunk that just builds up until you are forced to clean that all up with 100% bleach. Also, this has silicone, you can pop it inside out to pop the gunk out without having to touch it hopefully,

This has a push plunger to fill the sink up, a plastic basket that sits on top to capture food, and it fits my kitchen sink perfectly! It is dishwasher safe and the best so far!

We got this for our RV sink, which is full-size, because we don't have a garbage disposal in the RV, and want to keep food particles from going down the sink. I was pleased with how well this fit into the sink drain, sealing well and feeling secure. Once placed, it stays in the drain, allowing water through a plastic strainer that filters out debris. That strainer is easily removed to dump out what it has caught. You can press down on the center to seal the drain and fill the sink with water, and press down again to release the seal and drain the sink.It's been a great addition to our RV, and makes using the sink much easier. It would also work in any full-size home (kitchen) sink that doesn't have a garbage disposal to do the same thing.

This is the sink stopper I've been searching for. Gone are the cheap dollar store types that break in a month or less. This is good quality rubber that seals easily. Then the little strainer sits on top to allow the water to drain around all the gunk. Press the button down the the mechanism under clicks shut. Now your stopper is engaged and your sink will fill. I have a standard sized sink and this fits like a charm! Very highly recommended.
