My puppy has had motion sickness and anxiety while riding since I got her at 8 weeks old making every car ride a nightmare for her and I. She would drool, shake, vomit and whine. I purchased a soft bottom hammock with open end to help with her feeling stable and it did help some. However, she still vomited and cleanup was still difficult as it was not always contained within the hammock area. My vet recommended a solid bottom hammock so I ordered this based on the previous positive reviews.The product itself is very easy to install. the only adjustments needed being the length of the straps that go around the headrest. It fits perfectly in the back of my Mazda3 hatchback giving my now 5 month old large breed puppy plenty of room to lie down and stretch out. The only thing to note is the Velcro used to close the seat belt attachment is VERY strong. I would recommend opening them and attaching the seat belt harness strap prior to fully attaching the headrest straps. The product looks nice as well and the quality is better than I expected.Since switching to this hammock, my puppy has successfully managed every car ride, from a quick run to town to a 20 minute ride to training without vomiting and drooling. She still has some anxiety but it appears to have lessened greatly. I have to note that she still vomits when she rides in my truck that does not have a hammock.The total win for me with this item was that my puppy actually laid down and slept on a 20 minute drive home recently!

was very hesitant at first but when I say these are the BEST dog mats! I mean it! I tried so hard to find mats that fit my car and also are able to fold for my babies car seats and these took the WIN! not only are they able to hold my 100lbs Doberman but they fit perfectly in my 2015 Honda pilot! They are so easy to put in and take out, as well as clean, and don’t even get me started on clean it looks in the car. The best part for me on top of everything else is when I have to take it down it has a little to go bag that it easily folds into!

This thing works great and gives my dog more space in the back seat while also giving me some storage for dog supplies and a few other things. You can still reach under the platform to store stuff on the floor of the backseat near the door. The flooring seems sturdy and it was easy to set up (took less than 5 minutes).The only negative is that the picture makes it look more deluxe than it actually is. It looks nice, but not as nice as the picture.

It comes in a zippered carrying case. It's not heavy and easy to put up. The mesh let's your baby see you and let's cold air or heat get to the backseat. The zippered sides help keep light & traffic shadows away if you travel after dark. I rigged up a container and put a bowl of water in it as we travel. The dog gets thirsty just like we do but can't ask. This helps from spills and most splashes. I used the extra clips from the canopy since I don't have luggage hooks above my rear doors. It worked great on a 900 mile trip, there and back, twice. When we stopped I dump out any water in tub and refill bowl as needed. The bed is a must have if you have pets that love to travel with you. If your baby has an accident, I put down an extra blanket down and carried wipes just in case, it cleans up easily and the pockets help keep the most important things you need right there where you can easily get to them. I have a 50 lb medium size dog and he has so much room to move around, he's in Heaven all sprawled out in the back seat.If you need to find space for a human in the back seat just unclip from either side & fold the pad over. Or if you need the whole seat, it takes about 10 mins to pull it all out, wipe it down, fold it up and slip it back into the carrying case. It's well worth the money. I'm buying one for every vehicle we travel in.
