SCARY!! APPEARANCE IS EXACT DULPLICATE OF MY FACTORY BATTERY
I requested and received for free this IEFUU 12 VOLT M12 MILWAUKEE COMPATIBLE BATTERY to test it and give my honest opinion. The only Milwaukee drill I have is a 15 year old workhorse that I rarely use anymore (so heavy) and that can't even use this battery. I do have and am getting ready to use a Milwaukee HEATED SWEATSHIRT that takes this size battery. I always meant to buy a spare to extend the time I can keep the sweatshirt heat going but never did. When this battery arrived, I was surprised it LOOKS EXACTLY like a Milwaukee factory made battery except for the decals. In the past when I bought Generic aftermarket tool batteries for my other tools they were either a different color or slightly different design (copyright laws???). Not this one, it LOOKS exactly the same. It fit right into the adapter, no problem, hooked it up to the sweatshirt cable and set it to high. Works fine. I started a comparison run time test with the Milwaukee 16 WH (watt hours) factory battery and this aftermarket 30 WH battery but I got distracted working on my deck and when I got back it was 4 hours later and of course it was depleted. It was 10 o'clock at night and I didn't think a 2 hour recharge and a 2 hour repeat test for each battery, 8 hours total, was in the cards (I will update these comments if I use it in real world situation and there is any problem). Price was a little higher than the DOZENS of similar generic batteries on Amazon, but the 2.5AH rating looks better than most of them.

Good Replacment
Almost as good as OEM, but slightly less charge hold. These appear to be near exact replicas on the surface but I am sure underneath its less design then OEM.

Battery
This battery functions great in several of the M12 tools that I've used it in. Although it is significantly less expensive, I don't think it will survive as long as OEM batteries in terms of run duration and overall life. I'm using it as an additional battery, but it's also an excellent alternative for tools with low drain rates.

Works as well as OEM
Let's face it - batteries are expensive, especially Milwaukee OEM. So when I see an aftermarket battery at a decent price, I'm willing to give it a try. First of all, the battery charged with no problem in my Milwaukee charger. It came up to full charge quickly, with no warning lights.I then tried it out in a couple of Milwaukee lanterns that we use primarily for camping. The lanterns "read" the battery just fine, and the fuel gauge showed a complete charge. The lanterns worked just as expected. So, no issues that I can see, and I think this makes a good spare battery at a good price.

Works!
I've used this battery in some of my M12 tools and it works well. I don't expect it will last as long, both in run time and overall life, as OEM batteries but it's much cheaper. This is a great option for tools which do not have a high drain or as a backup battery, which is how I am using it.

Good generic replacement M12 battery
There are a lot of different generic battery alternatives for Milwaukee's M12 line of tools. Many are priced cheaply but they either don't last long or don't have the advertised juice when it's needed. The original (OEM) battery is usually the best in terms of quality and longevity, but it's significantly more expensive. This M1 replacement battery from IEFUU is a decent compromise. In terms of quality, it seems to be better than most of the competitors, but it's also somewhat more expensive compared to them as well. It's still quite cheaper than the OEM version though. Milwaukee's own M12 batteries come in 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 amp versions, but many generics advertise 3.5 amps or more. This one is a more realistic 2.5 amps that can maintain this level for an extended period of time.Recommended.

Equivalent knock off battery
The IEFUU 12 Volt 48-11-2420 2.5AH M12 Battery is a solid choice for those looking to power their Milwaukee 12V tools. With a capacity of 2.5AH, it provides a decent runtime, allowing for extended use of tools on a single charge. I appreciate that its compatible with a wide range of Milwaukee's 12V cordless power tools, making it a versatile addition to my toolkit. Additionally, the battery is designed to run cooler and perform well even in challenging conditions, which is a significant advantage for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. And at a fraction of the cost!

Stick with brand name
Got battery as a backup. For the price difference vs. longevity I recommend going with branded battery. Not even close comparison
