I bought this as an upgrade to an old 802.11 g/n, used with a small form factor Dell PC connected to a TV. Gaining N, and AC (5 GHz) and an antenna improved the streaming media performance of this PC tremendously. For a desktop PC needing Wi-Fi capability, this has been a great purchase.
