Perfect shape and performance but dirt magnet.
The mouse is perfect so I have less bad things to say than good, so I'll start with the bad.-It comes with stickers for grip and a sticker for the bottom of the mouse instead of a plastic bottom. After a few weeks use the corners of the stickers on the top, sides and bottom of the mouse will attract bits of dirt and dust which make it unsightly. The area must be kept clean for best performance and looks. Without the stickers I didn't really like the feel of the plastic and its slipiness. With the stickers its fantastic.-1 usb cable, expect you to unplug the dongle to charge the mouse then plug it back in. Hopefully not points of failure. Might have to buy another cable to be safe.So the good is the shape of the mouse is great its a little smaller than a g403/703 but this lets you move it a bit quicker. It feels great. It's a much lighter. Very noticeable. Software is fine with no problems.

I can never go back to a heavier mouse
Bought this after trying my friends one. Hands down the best gaming mouse I have owned. Battery lasts long even with 4k polling. Very light and comfortable to hold. Software is simple to use and you can tinker the settings to your gameplay.

It is nice...however;
It is a nice mouse, however, I believe for people that have fairly large hands it is not suitable. Find myself struggling to do minor adjustments in micro aims. That is the reason for the 4 star.

Love it
I try it after Razer Viper Ultimate and it feel so nice in my hands. It is also very light, software works great too.

One of the best mice of 2024/25
I know this is a popular mouse and people already reviewed it but I’m giving my opinion.Long term thoughts on the Maya 8K (small):Set up: Mouse: Maya 8K w/ obsidian pros. No grip tape Pad: wallhack sp-004 and xray pad aqua control +Settings: 800 dpi 8Khz angle snapping on.Games: valorant apex overwatch kovaaks.Pros:Lightweight mouse but in terms of build quality, the mouse does not feel hollow or flimsy. Aggressively applying force to the sides and top of the mouse give no feedback (no popping or creaking or cracking). In addition to this the lightweight makes it feel like your mouse is gliding across the mousepad without having to put any input/effort to move it, this feeling is amped when using a glass pad. Starting and stopping feels effortless.3950 application is good, not much to say there, very good sensor. Tracking, flicking and micro adjustments feel accurate.8khz- don’t have a 8khz monitor, just gotta trust the numbers. Bigger number = bigger cool.Software - the software is easy to use and the settings such as angle snapping is a good addiction for gamers who play valorant. I personally have this setting on across all games but that’s up to personal preference. The software on the most part is simple and high quality. No bloatware like the steelseries software.Switches, side buttons, scroll wheel - switches are light and there is little to no pre/post travel. However, I’m not sure if this is universal but my mouse has side to side wobble on both left and right. The side buttons personally are in the perfect positioning for my grip style, easy access and tactile snappy response/ feedback. Middle/ scroll wheel button is fine, standard and smooth.Cons:The holes on the bottom make the bottom of the mouse a dust magnet. Making cleaning the bottom of the mouse a pain. As a glasspad user, it is basically mandatory to clean the mouse and the pad to make sure I don’t get that scratchy feel from dust on the pad or skate. This makes it more of a pain but that’s personal opinion.Battery life is shit, that is all. 20 hours on 8khz is meh for a mouse this expensive. Charging it every 3 days is not a problem, it just sucks to have a meh battery life for a mouse that costs about £120 (GBP).Overall, this mouse is like a 8/10. Very cool colour and overall great mouse. It just sucks that the battery life is mediocre and mouse button wobble.

Great mouse - already needing repaired/replaced
I have had this mouse for just shy of 4 months. Its a fantastic mouse, glides great with the stock glides. Feels comfortable in a palm grip. Responsive and good battery life (i play with a 2K polling rate to save some battery whilst still getting insane good low latency times). However, it has just stopped working. The clicks on the mouse work when wired however it does not detect any movement in wireless or wired mode. Happened completely out the blue during a gaming session. Software is all updated and what not so I am not having to be in contact with Fnatic customer services about this to hopefully either send it off for repair or receive a replacement. Really really disappointing for this to happen so early into a premium mouse's lifespan.
