My dad worked for Humble Oil & Refining Co. so I have an interest in the history of the oil industry. I learned some things I had no knowledge of, especially about the beginnings of various oil fields and the persons involved. The pictures are helpful in understanding the working conditions that existed. Years ago I wrote Exxon about the Humble historical photographs and data and learned it went to the University of Texas in Austin as part of their library. If someone wants to do more research on Humble, that would be the place to go.This was a useful and interesting book.
