we purchased this for some renaissance costuming - the straps, at their widest point, barely fit me (with a chest of 41"), so I was skeptical that they would fit my husband - sure enough, they do not - he was looking to put this over a lightly armored shirt, but his base chest size is 44.5", and the straps, at their widest point, would not fit him - I'm keeping the item because I can pick up some replacement strapping at a craft store and put something together that will work for what we were going for, but I'm disappointed that I have to take that stepI do appreciate that the listing makes it clear that this is not meant to be a heavy duty piecePROS:good pricingseems sturdy enough for costuming purposesprime shippingCONS:won't fit anyone past a 42" chest, and even that will be snugnot real leather (okay for me, maybe not for you)

I'm 5'01" 115lb drag king, and I was worried this would be huge on me, but it fit pretty well! Seems well made and looks really nice.

It fit perfectly. I wear a Medium in shirt. My chest is about a 38. I got several compliments on it.

It's a good quality for the price. Seems to be durable. I would but others made by the same company

I didn't expect this to be stellar for the price, but given it had all the adjustment I suspected it should fit fine. I'm a tall guy and not skinny, but I do have a 32" waist and this did not fit. With the adjustment out to the last eyelets, it barely fit, and looked funny the way it sat on my body. I think it would be okay for a skinny person but if you're a bigger to average size guy, I'd look elsewhere. Plus side, it's easy to return if you don't like the way it fits.
