We bought these to save our plants from deer. Did not work. The deer ate every plant and flower, even those right next to it! The light and high pitched squeal does nothing for deer. Description is misleading. We bought 12 of these as we have a big yard. Very expensive lesson!!

This has kept squirrels and coyotes away from our garden. No more chewed watering systems. It will be triggered by other lights so if you are by a road it will react. Charges great. If you have a garden this works to take care of your plants.

I've had this thing outside hardly a month. In nice weather. Except for a few days of rain here and there and now it doesn't work. It just screams an awful high pitch noise all the time. It doesn't flash anymore. It used to work fine but it fefifid not hold up outside. Amazon wants me to pay UPS to come pick up a defective item in order to process the refund. Straight scam

Worked on 1 out of 3 cats who visit yard regularly. Raccoons aren't fazed at all.Issues:1) repeatedly triggers when facing into the afternoon sun.2) Sound only plays for 2-3 seconds. Not long enough to scare critters if you ask me.3) Power swith (at bottom) is difficult to slide, I have to remove the unit from the stake and look at it to make sure it's not stuck in the middle.4) There is no motion detection sensitivity setting. It's too sensitive as it is and triggers too frequently.I'll be returning this and looking for something better.

So, this thing works! BUT I think it has ways it could be improved.#1 the sound can be herd by humans.#2 it will start randomly going off if the battery is low.#3 for best use you need to turn it off when it's charging.#4 don't put it close to the road whare headlights can strike it because it will go off every time.But it works amazing when charged, got the naghborhood cat to stop hanging around.Even got a fox to come to come check it out, then it ran away.So it works, but it's a part time job to make sure it's charged. Keep it away from headlights and if the sound annoys you return it.

First one stopped working after getting wet by the sprinklers. Ordered replacement but noticed it has no impact on skunks (happened right before my eyes). Don't waste your money on this

I have had an issue with cats jumping my fence and getting into my yard. I had my doubts on purchasing a unit like this. So I took my chances. I placed this device plus one of my surveillance cameras next to the fence where the cats jump the fence. Out of four different cats, only one cat walked up to the motion detector and then walked away, the other three cats ran away once they where detected. Since I purchased this, there has been no cats jumping my fence nor in the past 3 days have I seen a cat get near the area.

I bought this product and it really works scaring away stray cats that use my front lawn as a litter box, but after a week it broke, I should have read the negative reviews before buying, horrible product.
