Love this coffee grinder! So efficient! Of course it's not super quiet, but a lot quieter then others I've had. Also, what I love is it works so well. It works fast and you don't have to stand there grinding and grinding before you get all your beans done. So be careful not over grind. Buy it!

One of the biggest complaints I have about coffee grinders is the mess they make. The grinds get outside the of top attachment that grinds the coffee and scatters coffee grinds on the counter top when you take it off. This grinder keeps the grounds inside the cup. Also the fact that you can rinse the cup and even put in the dishwasher is a plus. It is a breeze to clean. It grinds a pretty good amount coffee. Have not tried it with spices, etc. but I have been happy with it and it is doing the job. It was worth the price and it is definitely an upgrade for me.I can't speak to the durability because I have not had that long but I will update.

I have had great lick with Shardor products in the past, so I was looking forward to trying this Burr grinder. It does grind well and offers a large variety of settings. Unfortunately, it doesn't compare to the Cuisinart product I own. Both have issues with accurate measurements, but the Shardor is really off. Setting for 4 cups will produce enough coffee for 12 cups. It's never been accurate. I like the fact that I can just press the grind button and walk away, but I always have to "scoop measure" when loading up my coffee maker. It's also really messy. Coffee grinds spill everywhere when I remove the chamber from the base the when I take th stop off the chamber. coffee also tends to stick to the top and sides in clumps.

From the beginning, this grinder gets stuck during every cycle preventing an even grind. You have to literally shake the grinder for the beans to continue grinding. This is worse than manual grinding. Not recommended for serious coffee drinkers!

Lots of choices; reviewed about ten and glad I decided on this one. Fits perfectly, grinds well, and every thing else about it was as described. Would recommend.

This is a very nice and seemingly high quality coffee grinder. I haven't had it long to know if it will last, but so far so good!
