Really cool effect
Pretty cool item. My nephew who is big into Star Wars loved it. It was the “hit” Christmas gift and everyone was intrigued.

Work sign most of the time but looks like once in awhile the magnet gives out and drops the speaker. Since it's held together with the electromagnet, thus will not work unless it is plugged in, I'm almost sure it's a small surge in the electricity that is producing the Gap in flow and dropping it. But it's pretty sturdy so it hasn't broken. It is random and it's only happened three times in the last 6 months. Maybe put something under it.

Good Quality and Construction, Average Speaker
I've tried to be detailed in this review, and labeled each section so you can just jump to the part you're interested in.Setup and Pairing: This speaker came excellently packaged in a nice box with custom foam cutouts. It only took a couple minutes to attach the legs - all hardware and a screwdriver are included. The speaker paired with both my computer and phone quickly and with no issues. (I did have to disconnect it from one device before pairing or connecting with another.)Quality and Construction: The base is very sturdy and made with metal plates on the sides that gives it a stable, quality feel. The speaker section seems to be mostly plastic, which is expected since that cuts down on weight and allows it to “levitate”. All of it looks nice, and there were no scratches or other defects.Power: The base plugs in to a wall outlet with a power adapter that has a 5 ft cord (for the price it would be nice if this cord was longer to allow it to more easily be located on top of a cabinet, etc.) This powers the LEDs in the base as well as allows the levitation function (unpowered, the speaker will just fully attract to the base and not ‘float’). The speaker section is battery powered and recharges via USB-C. Note: if the base loses power, the speaker will fall.Sound: The sound quality depends on your expectations. Compared to other portable bluetooth speakers this one lacks bass and volume. But those are dedicated speakers whereas this is a speaker that has a specific Star Wars style and levitation function. So as long as you realize that this speaker is as much about style as substance I’d rate the sound as acceptable. Note that you cannot control the sound volume from the speaker itself, but only from your device. Conclusion: This one’s a little tough to rate because for the price it’s just “okay” as a speaker. On the other hand, it’s well constructed and has a cool look and style. I wouldn’t hesitate to display it in my hobby room or with my Star Wars stuff. I’m going to rate it 5-stars because overall it met my expectations, was accurately represented in the listing, and it looks cool - but overall I feel it could be a bit cheaper.I hope this review was helpful, and I will update if my experience changes.

Awesome display piece for the Mando geeks!
This floating speaker is a really cool piece, especially for Star Wars fans. I absolutely love the Mandalorian-inspired design—it has a futuristic, sleek look that makes it perfect for any desk or office space. While the speakers themselves aren't top-of-the-line in terms of sound quality, they still work great for casual listening, like podcasts or audiobooks. You’re likely getting this more for the aesthetic, and in that regard, it’s perfect. The floating effect adds a unique, eye-catching element that really sets it apart as a conversation piece. The stand plugs into the wall, and the speaker is rechargeable via USB-C, making it convenient to use. The packaging is fantastic as well—it comes with everything you need, and the unboxing experience is impressive. Overall, it’s a fantastic piece of futuristic décor that any gadget lover or Star Wars fan will appreciate. It may not blow you away with sound quality, but for what it is, it’s a standout addition to any tech or sci-fi collection.

Super Fun! Great Conversation Piece.....but at a Price!
The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this little guy!So a few things. One, it's very simple to assemble, they even provide the little Torx screwdriver you need to screw on the legs of the base/stand. Plug in the charging cable into the port on the back of the speaker to charge up the Mandelorian speaker. Once the little charging lights go off, it's fully charged. Simply push the power on button on the backside of the Mandelorian, open your Bluetooth setting on your iPhone and pair him up. Now, you MUST PLUG IN THE BASE using the power cord for the Mandelorian speaker to "hover" or "levitate." Once you do that it's super easy to get the speaker to hover. Simply raise up the Mandelorian underneath the magnet and you'll feel it' "snap" in to place, and he'll hang there effortlessly. It's SUPER COOL!As far as the sound, yeah, it's OK. Depending on what you listen to, some types of music fairs better than others. Instrumental music, like jazz, classical or new age are all fine and sound good. Once you start listening to music that has vocals or heavy bass (like pop or rock), is when the sound becomes less impressive. For me, this isn't a problem as I keep this on the credenza in my office and typically play instrumental music. The battery last quite a long time. I can go a couple days without having to charge it up.A couple other little things. The power supply is in the plug, so all that bulk is at the outlet where you plug it in. The cord is super thin, so it's easy to tuck into a joint or hide it behind or under your desk or table. So, is this a bit pricey? Well, maybe. But if you like a functional conversation piece that's unique, well, this might be for you. I like having it in my office, so for me, it's worth it. Makes a great Christmas present for the person who is tough to buy things for.
