A must for the notorious chain popping
I ordered this tensioner as a last ditch effort to keep my chain from popping on my motor scooter and it worked…with a little modification. I had to stack about 1/2” of washers and get a longer bolt to align the pulley with the chain. It keeps the chain nice and tight and haven’t had an issue since I installed it. Installation was super easy! Just remove the three bolts from the sprocket cover and bolt it up using the supplied longer bolts. If you’re having problems try this before giving up.
