Most fun we've had in ages, and the kids liked it too!
Okay, I wasn't expecting much but this was SO MUCH FUN!!! I got it as an afternoon parent-supervised activity for a couple of 4.5 year olds. The instructions were clear and it is so easy to do - you close the mold, fill with powder, then drop it in water for 10 minutes and let it sit to dry for at least 30 minutes. It was easy enough for the kids to do completely on their own with guided supervision. It comes woth 5 molds in 4 unique shapes (2 of the 5 are different sized spheres, 1 molecule shape, 1 dodecahedron-like shape, and 1 flower shape). After 30 minutes they came out of the mold but were a little tacky. They bounced but lost shape so we let them sit a little longer until they felt dry on the outside. And oh my gawd did they bonce once set! The shapes all hold extremely well, coming out exactly like the mold, and they all bounce in different, unpredictable ways. The kids had SO MUCH FUN with this, and us parents were totally jealous. Thankfully the kit makes at least 30 balls (says up to 45), so we'll have plenty of time to make our own too. The colors mix well and are quite vibrant once they are done. One ball came out looking like a blue and orange planet!Update: lowering rating by one star, because a few days later the balls get hard and don't bounce at all. Very fun right after they are made and the day after, though.

Great STEM project
My grandson now knows what a polymer is! This is a great project. Is easy to do and the finished product is great!

Love the idea, but didn't work that well
My kids and I were very excited to do this project, but it was harder than expected to make a good looking bouncy ball. All our balls came out pebbly and not smooth. In addition the glow in the dark powder really didn't work well at all. It didn't stick to the mold like it said it should in the instructions, and it doesn't glow hardly at all no matter how long we left it in the light.Still in the end the kids liked making them, but be aware they do dry out so these only bounce for a day or two until you have to throw them out

Cute set, easy to follow instructions, interesting balls, don't bounce super great
This is a pretty tiny set, but it has all the materials you need to make 45 bouncy balls of different shapes and sizes. It gets the kids experimenting with different materials, colors and molds to create their unique balls. I think it is easier to make a bunch at once rather than try to make a few at a time, that way you don't have to worry about storing excess materials as much. The instructions were simple to follow, my 8 year old could do almost everything herself. Once created you have to wait quite a while for the balls to dry completely before using them. Using them too early warps them and they don't bounce well. Once they dry though they can be bounced all over the place. They don't bounce super great, they do seem to bounce awkwardly but they do bounce enough that the kids really like them. They glow ok, especially if you put them in direct light for a few minutes.Overall it's a fun kit to do a few times and make a bunch of different types of balls and experiment with them.

Tons of Bouncy Fun!
I had no idea you could make your own bouncy balls, and neither did my kids! This kit includes everything you need to make a variety of shapes and colors of bouncy balls. It's a chemistry kit in a box! The balls definitely bounce in different ways, and to different heights. It takes a little bit of practice to figure out how to get the balls to come out just right, but once you get it your house will turn into a bouncy ball factory. We all had fun with this one, but one tip: bounce these outside!

Bouncy Ball Kit
Really fun activity to do with my 5 year old. I got it for him for his birthday. You can make a ton of balls. There are a ton of molds so we liked the variety we could make. Overall super fun activity and a great gift to give.
