BEEYUIHF Soldering Paste Flux, Rosin Electrical Solder Flux for SMD PCB BGA Electronics Soldering & ....This is a small tin of Rosin Flux, listed as 65g but that is the gross weight (includes the weight of the tin). The tin itself is about 20g total, so you’re getting 45g of flux, for the price, it’s not too bad. I won’t explain what Rosin Flux is for, if you don’t know, then you most likely don’t have a need for it.This is a paste not a liquid, easy to apply to surfaces, wires, cables etc. Low melting point and turns instantly to liquid when an iron is applied. Solder runs well with it, leaves a clean joint, ideal for reflow.

Ordered this as needed to clean up my soldering iron as it had become less effective of late, with the solder not flowing well. This item arrived in a sealed tin within an anti-static bag.The purpose of this paste is two fold- it allows solder to flow more effectively when soldering joints thus giving a better, more reliable finish and secondly it removes the oxidization from the soldering iron tip when soldering, which can lead to poor flow etc. I heated up the iron and dipped the hot tip into the paste, and the tip was instantly renewed, looking bright and shiney. I also used it on my desoldering station handgun, which had become slightly blocked from use and again this worked wonders. Solder joints flow better now with this paste used as a "pre-dip" prior to soldering. Price break is excellent with the tin containing a large amount of paste that will last a while. Highly recommend addition to any hobbyist tool kit.

Ordered because I needed to do a little bit of simple soldering.As per it's video I heated teh flux with the soldering iron, then poked a wire into it, repeat until no more wires.I then dipped the soldering iron in again and loaded the iron tip with solder, and then tinned wires, repeating as necessary.I then prepared the board contacts using liquid flux and then soldered the wires to the board.Job done

The tin is easy to open and store the flux, and it doesnt smell bad etc. for £6 (Sept '24) the value is okish for the quanity. Usefull as you can poke wires into it, but doesnt have a brush etc with it for applying that way, so harder to put on some connections.

Superb flux and such a large tub it flows exceptionally well and very cleanly i use loads in my electronics projects and this one is excellent

My husband says it works well, it's nice and thick and keeps his soldering iron working well.It works well on joints and is easy to use.The tin is handy to keep it from drying out.Decent value too.

Being a thick paste this is ideal for dipping my soldering iron tip into to ensure it stays clean. It's also great for dipping component wires in to ensure they are oxide free when soldering them. It's not so great if you want to apply it to sections of a PCB as it needs to be smeared on - better with a liquid flux for that.
