Nutrition yumminess for puppies
The media could not be loaded. Both my German shepherd puppies love this! They eat it like it’s candy. It stinks to high heaven but then it’s for my puppies not me and it not only gives them vital nutrients but keeps their coats healthy and their outdoor “business” normal.

Ugh But The Dog Loves It
Nothing about green tripe smells good. Dr Seuss could devote an entire book to it."Does it smell good in a pan? Does it smell good only sealed in a can? Could it be, could it be it smells like the shat has hit the fan after escaping the can?"OK but it smells better than the "fresh" non canned stuff. I often wonder if there is benefit for the dog in eating this, given the tripe has been cooked and canned. But she loves it.Buy the size can you can use for one feeding of your dog, or dogs, and don't plan on saving some for another meal. It is not the leftover your fridge will love. Did I mention the dog loves it?Dogs like to roll around in dead things and take great delight in doing that job well. My kid and I don't share that sentiment and don't enjoy the death breath from this stuff either. A can of this stuff is her all access hall pass to lounge on the couch, alone, with it all to herself, all night. Maybe that's what so appealing to her.....Did I mention she loves it? We love her and death breath is little to put up with occasionally for her to be happy.

Good Source of Non-Frozen Green Tripe
Quality, low-heat processed canned green tripe should provide many of the same benefits as fresh or even frozen raw green tripe, but some heat sensitive contents, such as probiotics and digestive enzymes, may be lost in the canning process. Also extra ingredients may be added to the product such as garlic, carrageenan or guar gum for thickeners. If you have access to frozen green tripe that is the best as it is not processed and no added ingredients. But if you don't have access, don't have a big freezer or you just want to keep a backup for if the power goes out, this is a really good second choice. As far as a canned green tripe product goes, this is a quality product and this seller has it at a fair price so I gave it a five for those reasons. (If you compare it to fresh raw green tripe from a butcher it would probably be a 3.)

Good Source of Supplemental Nutrition
Everything I've read tells me green tripe is wonderful for adding as a supplement to your pregnant bitch's daily diet. I've been using it now for a few months and two litters so far and it has helps the mama maintain her solid weight during the nursing stage (this is sometimes hard to do). I personally am not crazy about the smell, but considering what tripe IS, that's understandable. My dogs took a few days to get used to the taste also, but now that they are they love it. A good, rich source of supplemental nutrition for your breeding dogs.

My dogs go crazy for this!
I got this food to try and help my dogs skin allergies. That hasn't really worked out but they love this food. I use it monthly to feed their heartworm medicine. I also use it anytime I need to bribe my dogs: toenails, bathtime, etc. Both of my dogs go nuts for it and will do anything for it. But oh boy, does it smell bad!

High value, healthy dog treat
I'm a dog trainer. My dogs, and most client dogs, prefer this to cheese, meat, liver, and anything else i've tried. I use it for situations where you really need a high-value treat, like when you are working with a fearful or picky dog. I love that it is healthy and does not tend to upset their stomachs! I blend it up into a puree (either alone or mixed with wet food, yoghurt, pumpkin, etc) and use it in a treat tube, and I also stuff my dog's kongs with it and and freeze them. It doesn't smell any worse than regular wet dog food to me, but I think how sensitive you are to the smell varies a lot between people.

Disappointment
I like Trippet tripe. I want actual tripe, not blended stuff and I’ve always been happy with Trippet’s product. That said, the package arrived undamaged but there were leaking cans inside. I was afraid to use any of the product and threw it away. I wonder if there was a manufacturing problem because the cans themselves did not appear to be dented or damaged, but they were definitely leaking.

Thanks One Way Pet !!
I like the Tripett food and have been feeding it, along with some other brands, for a number of years. I’ve ordered it from a number of online sites, but in the last year-and-a-half, no matter where I’ve tried, the cans come damaged and I have to throw some out. Thank you, thank you One Way Pet !!! This is the first case in all that time that didn’t have one damaged can. I’ll definitely Shop at you store again.
