Many people find that lego sets and meccano is just too expensive these days- well look no further! I needed a new bed and while the reviews on this one were mixed, I took a calculated risk owing to the great reviews on their other products. I can say that the bed itself is superb- I love the shelf, it's very sturdy, I don't have a problem of noise or mattress movement (the holding joints take care of that), and two people can easily be supported without worry. The only inconvenience is the construction. As an engineer myself, I do enjoy the challenge, but for those who want a quick assembly, be aware. There are a lot of parts, and the product is packaged very nicely into a flat pack box. I spent about three hours on the construction while watching some TV and I found it quite straightforward. Stick to the instructions and do not tighten until the end. I recommend tightening after you've installed the upholstery pieces, as they're the hardest to fit, and then at the end when you connect the foot and the head to the main bed. It makes sense why it's this way, as nothing is loose and the bolts grip nicely. So enjoy- but be prepared for a bit of allen key work. I do think I would've been faster with a drill, however, so expect a 2-4hr build.

I bought this because my previous bed was very heavy and was very difficult to move when needed. I'm surprised this is very cheap, the quality is not bad. However, there was some issues I encountered during assembly. One joint was broken, one screw was not fitting to size. But overall good bed.

Parts I and parts J both missing in the items delivered for the bed frames delivered to SS69FA. I’m requesting for these two items be supplied and delivered ASAP.Thank you.Babalola

For the price, approx £140, will have to wait and see. Had already dismantled old bed, and sold it as not enough room for both however found damaged and in need on a bed for son.Instructions are very limited/poor and took hours to make with 2 people.

Took about 2 hours to build as instructions are not great but with a bit of patients it’s an absolute solid good looking metal bed frame and great for the price.

The Bed is packed well and is fairly heavy, prepare yourself a decent space to work in and then unpack and check you have all the componentsFull assembly took me just under 2 Hours so be patient and follow the instructions which I woud describe as fairly goodThe end product is good, all the components are coated and once assembled its solidI particularly like the storage at the headboard end, It is heavy and the help from a second person would really speed things up when placing into the final position.Finally, place your mattress onto the platform and your new bed is completeI would rate the finished item as well made ,modern and attractive.

I was sat waiting for a massive box to be delivered when this bed frame was due but imagine my surprise when I received the small package. That’s right, it’s flat pack and it’s a fiddly bit of furniture to put together, not helped by bad instructions and some slightly out of shape parts.It’s did, however, eventually get built with much huffing and puffing and a lot of time and the finished product is surprisingly sturdy, plus the shelf part is great for storage.I was debating 3 stars because this needs a warning for those not so good at putting these sort of things together so it sort of sits at 3.5 stars at the moment.
