These nano glass foot files are the best for dry cracked feet in the winter! If you have not tried one yet, you should for sure. Such a more efficient tool than a pumice stone which takes twice the time and twice the effort to get similar results. This Baluca foot file, I'm so pleased with. I didn't realize it had a cover for the bottom, and actually if I had, I might not have ordered it, because the last nano glass foot file that came in this same shape and with a cover, I could hardly pry that bottom cover off! Had to get a fingernail in that small groove and pry with all my might, it was so frustrating. But this cover on this brand comes off really easily, no prying needed! And that is super because now I can really enjoy the benefit of being able to cover this tool if I want to take it on travels at all. I think this is a great model. This one is probably my running favorite for nano glass foot files. Easy to fit in the hand, easy to file heels with, easy to cover once it is dry. Love it!

I'm tempted to rate this a three-star product out of frustration, but it does work well for its primary purpose as a callus/foot file. The frustration is because the listing image indicates that you can easily take it apart to clean it. I strongly disagree. Can't do it. Maybe if it came with instructions, but it did not. However, like I said, as a foot file it works really well, and the egg shape makes it easy/comfortable to hold.

I like the size of this. It's a little bigger than a computer mouse, so it fits great in the palm of my hand, making it easier to use than something with a handle. It's hard to explain the feel of the abrasive material. It is like a very, very fine grained sandpaper, but much more solid than sandpaper would be. It works really well to slough off the dead skin, and it doesn't leave any scratches at all. The abrasive part comes with a cover, and when it's clicked on, the whole thing looks, while not necessarily stylish, sleek and easy to slip into a bag.

I have used another one like this but lost it on a trip. I can use it in the shower and it only takes a few scrubs to make my feet smoother. Then I just rinse it and leave it to dry out. I like the etched nano-glass parts, they don't leave scuff marks or cut my feet.
