I bought this to wear with my e bike and I really like it. The visor doesn’t really block the sun on your face so if you’re concerned about your skin, this will not save you from sun damage.

Comfortable helmet with a good fit. Comes with a covering for the strap buckle. Visor does not have a lot of movement but is a nice touch.

I have been a big fan of OutdoorMaster products. I even have their winter ski helmets and the kids love those. So when I saw they made bike helmets I had to give it a try. Fitting the helmet is super easy, you just turn the dial at the back of the helmet. There is plenty of airflow. The cushioning in the helmet is a hard foam shell with some softer padding in key contact areas for comfort. Arguably your helmet is the most important piece of equipment after the bicycle. II have gone through so many over the years, and the biggest issue is fit and then comfort. Racing a bicycle requires hundreds of hours on the bike in all sorts of weather. Racing requires you to wear one, so comfort is important, and that comes down to how adjustable is the webbing, and then the overall weight.This helmet from OutdoorMaster has a terrific system of gel pads inside for clinging, and a suspension system that is easily adjustable with a dial in the back to ensure a snug fit. I stopped twice in the first mile to adjust the chin strap, and after that, I never even noticed the helmet while I was riding today. The secret to the fit is the extensive use of blue gel pads which provide a secure and cozy fit superior to the old "halo" band of plastic which could at times cut into your scalp.It has 17 large ventilation holes to channel the airflow, and despite the summer heat here already in Florida, my head was cool for the entire ride. The helmet itself is about twice as thick as other models I have used and has an interesting feature in that the visor can be lowered or raised to customize the sun protection and your field of view.My only issue with it is that it seems as if it was designed primarily for Mountain Biking. The extra padding is a plus in a sport where crash landings can be rough, and the moveable visor is good for a ride where you would be going in and out of the woods.OVERALL - I did find myself wishing for my thinner and lighter road helmet with a fixed visor after a while, but I'm a triathlete first and foremost, so the features I need from a helmet are different than this very nice one provides. If you are a Mountain Biker, this one is a Keeper!

This is exactly what I’d expect from a high quality bike helmet. It’s easy to adjust the fit and comfortable to wear. It’s lightweight and doesn’t block my vision in any direction. No complaints!

I love this helmet. I’m mostly a road cyclist, but I’ve started doing some mountain biking, and this is my first helmet specific to that discipline. The most notable differences between this and a road helmet are that this helmet covers more of the back of the head and it has a visor. I really like that the visor is adjustable. You can flip it up out of the way for better visibility or lower it to reduce glare. Now, I won’t feel out of place on the trails.I’m very happy with the fit. I also have an Outdoor Master commuter helmet, which I like and use every weekday, but the sizing on that model runs a little small. This mountain bike helmet doesn’t have that problem. My head circumference is 59 cm, so I got a large, and there’s plenty of room for adjustment, while not feeling too big. The dial in the back is standard and easy to use.This helmet features ERT, which I hadn’t heard of before, but it’s that rubbery blue mesh layer. Apparently, it’s a more affordable, rival technology to MIPS, which is intended to add rotational impact protection. ERT is used in helmets made by other trusted brands, such as Schwinn. I’m all for added protection and value, so this is excellent.Other nice things about the helmet: it has plenty of vents for air flow (17), it’s fairly lightweight (374 g measured), it has a padded chin strap, and it comes with extra velcro stickers for re-attaching the washable liner. The helmet looks great, and I’ll be proud to use it.
