Pay the extra for the ones that slide more easily
Do not buy these - pay the extra and try and find the ones which state on the packaging that they slide up to 50% more easily. I have been buying Oral B Glide Floss Picks for years but there seem to be so many different packages that i most recently bought about a years supply of these - big mistake because they shred really quickly and certainly do not slide easily.

Great for oral hygiene
These are great for cleaning teeth on the go and I always have these with me. These ensure I don’t have cavities and very easy to use. Highly recommend!

Flimsy and floss snaps easily
Not convinced this is the same product I’ve been using for years, I have just gone through 6 flossers in 1 session when previously 1 flosser was more than enough.

Poor quality
Not fit for purpose, floss breaks straightaway, needing approx 6 per time…@oralb why change?

Disappointed
Disappointed in quality. Wax starts to thread before you can clean all teeth

I agree with hockey mama's review. I will go so far as to say these are dangerous. I also have used these for a decade or two and they were the best. I just bought a year's supply for our family and was appalled at the quality of the floss. I used it for a few days with the floss repeatedly breaking, until I got a piece stuck and couldn't get it out. I opened a new package to see if the first package was just a one-off. I used about 5 pieces trying to remove the stuck piece and they all broke and did not remove the piece. I used the sharp plastic end trying to remove the stuck piece. I tried tweezers to try to remove the stuck piece. I thought I was going to have to make an emergency appointment with my dentist as my gums by this time were actively bleeding. Like I spit a mouthful of blood into the sink. Finally, I was able to remove the stuck piece with plyers! Plyers in my mouth! If I hadn't been able to, and had to go to the dentist, this would have led to a consumer complaint. As it is, I am returning the 3 dozen packs that I purchased and will have to look for a replacement.

I will be the first to admit that I am addicted to flossing my teeth. There is nothing like the feeling of the pull of the floss between my molars following a rare cooked steak. These little babies are perfect for feeding that feeling. The problem with regular dental floss is that my big fat fingers do not fit inside my tiny little introverts mouth. These wonderful devices fit right in, and all the way to the back. In addition, the advanced engineering of the Y shaped device is far superior to ordinary P shaped flossers. (I hope they got a patent, cause I would sure help them enforce it.) I generally carry a couple of these flossers in all my pants pockets at all times. Because there is always time for proper oral hygiene. No need to take them out at laundry time, they go right through the washer and dryer.

I was a loyal user of this product. It was the best floss pick I’ve ever used but with the new material used for the floss they just break easily when flossing between crowns. Not worth the price anymore. Will be switching to much better made tradition floss. Such a shame since these are so much more convenient to use when they work properly.

Easy to use to reach all areas. Used them for years.

For context I have used these for years. On Amazon alone I have purchased more than 150 packs. As I had so many times before I purchased these floss picks with the innocent hope of removing plaque. What I removed instead was my faith in engineering, my trust in a brand, my will to floss, and possibly a small piece of my soul. Let me paint you a picture: It’s 7:03 PM. I’ve just eaten a salad. A leaf is wedged between my molars like it’s Aron Ralston. I reach for an Oral-B Glide Pick. I whisper, “Let’s do this.” I floss once—SNAP. The floss breaks leaving two tiny T-Rex like arms battering my gums. I stare at the broken flosser in my hand. I am not angry. I am transcendent. I am resolute. I try another. SNAP. I try a third. It breaks before touching my teeth. I am now flossing with the shattered dreams of a once-great dental dynasty. These picks are so weak, I’m convinced they were forged in the fires of disappointment by unpaid interns using uncooked ramen and false promises. They have the tensile strength of a toddler’s handshake and the durability of a paper umbrella in a hurricane. Oral-B? No. This is Oral-F. F for failing to serve its purpose F for a certain four letter word one might say when another one breaks F for Futility, flavored with regret F for Five broken picks and one existential crisis I now floss by screaming at my teeth until the plaque leaves out of fear. Thank you, Oral-B, for this journey into madness. I am left humbled. I am forever altered. A broken man who looks back fondly at once was and looks to the future with skepticism and fear.
