But this time I did. The bulbs arrived promptly. Packed tightly in foam for protection. First thing I noticed was build quality. These bulbs were built well. I was pleasantly surprised at how bright they were for 1.5 watts. The light output was warm and uniform from the bulb.In my experience so far, these bulbs are a winner. Yes…I’d buy them again.

This frosted glass, G40 40mm diameter globe shaped, E26 base, 2700K color temperature, 150lm bulb puts out a small amount of light (individually too little of light for me to read by with these ol' eyes). But if you start combining them together in strings, fixtures, candelabras, vanity mirrors, etc., they do their job well. My next-door neighbor has multiple strings of E26 bulbs running crisscross around their yard for hosting gatherings, and it lights up my backyard as well. Used in combination is where this bulb shines its stuff.Some reviewers have complained about the box. The box is generic, and is used for several types of lights. I recently ordered some G40/E12 colored lights for my Christmas light strings, and they came in the same generic box.If you're planning to use this bulb in a standard fixture, be prepared for the results. It's much smaller than a typical A19, or A21, sized bulb (you know, the standard bulb size). Some lamps attach the shade to the actual bulb, and these bulbs will not work in those lamps. The E26 base fits standard lamps and fixtures, and it produces light, so in that regard it does its job.Also, it's listed as frosted, but due to the type of LED element used it doesn't look like a frosted bulb. The element shines distinctly through. This is a miss, for this bulb. It should have been clear, or used another LED light source. Using this bulb in strings, candelabras, or vanity mirrors, it's going to look weird. If you use it in lamp, or fixture, with a frosted shade you're not as likely to notice this flaw.The bulb is listed as 150lm. I have another brand of frosted G40 bulbs that are listed as 150lm, and this bulb seemingly puts out less light. The reason I believe is due to the element used and how the light interacts with the frosting.I gave it a 4-star rating because in comparison to the other brand of frosted, G40, E26 bulbs the appearance is off and the value isn't as good.

These were the perfect replacements for the 15w bulbs in my outdoor Noel candlesticks. If you don’t need a lot of light, these are perfect. And the small wattage is perfect.

I love it because it’s a soft light that goes over the holy mother. The last one I had was bright and way too bright so this one works perfectly soft white thank you

These feel like old school incandescents in quality and I guess that's the point. The listing also lacks facts; these are listed as string replacement bulbs on the box, have a candle flame shaped filament that gives off a uneven glow which almost seems partial obscured. Other than that they work as expected.I'm pretty good at reading between the lines, but this one threw me for a loop. Impossible to tell exactly what you getting from the listing and that's a big 'F' grade. But it's just a light bulb, so it gets a 'B'.
