It looks beautiful

Nice to light up an otherwise dark area in or near your home. We have a small enclosed mud porch that I put this lantern in and it lights up the entryway all night. I would normally leave the porch light on but with this lantern I no longer need to do that which also makes it cost effective. The base of the lantern is lightweight plastic and it has a nice large bulb that gives ample brightness but also makes it a bit top heavy so it needs to be secured which is provided along with an extra bulb. Overall I really like this lantern but I would like it even more if it included the pole or had it as an option to purchase, I would likely order another one for the steps to our deck.

I've had this lamp sitting outside in my backyard on a plant stand for several weeks now. It has performed flawlessly and reliably the entire time, withstanding many days of direct sunlight and heat exceeding 100-degrees. It shines brightly well into the morning hours. In fact, I have not seen it extinguished at any time during night hours. The lamp umbrella, base, arms and square mount base accessory are made of powder coated aluminum for the most part, providing structural rigidity and durability for the lamp in general. Plastic parts include the cover on the underside of the electrical box (the umbrella part at the top, where you will find a real E26 standard US lightbulb socket and the ON/OFF switch) and the clear bulb cover and the bulb itself. Be aware that the despite looking like a 110V light bulb socket, it is not. A 3-Volts DC, 3-Watts E26 bulb is required if you wish to replace the bulb. A wide variety of these bulbs are commonly available at a reasonable cost. The photos on the Amazon listing are accurate representations of the actual lamp, so I will avoid posting my own photos to avoid the redundancy.

Inexpensive lamp. Went for another style that suited my house better. Parts of this are plastic. I wanted something all glass for my post.lights to better standup to weather. Not bad for the price. Good illumination. Excellent customer servcice
