With short hair it's a nack to get used to it as bar is slippery do your hair won't burn. But second time I used very pleased. Very compact, nice carrying bag. Heats fast. Dual voltage. Good quality.

This curling iron is very simple to use- just twist the bottom to turn it on. The light will come on indicating it is on. There is only one heat setting. Heats up quickly and works well. However- being mini the barrel is short. This would work well for those for short or medium length hair. Otherwise you would have to work in sections to curl one strand. It also does not have any type of rest on it so it sits directly on the counter. It does come with a plastic cover that slips over the top but I am assuming you need to let it cool before replacing it. It also comes with a nice carrying bag.

The travel curling iron from the Atopskins Store feels like better quality than what I was anticipating. The on-off switch is easy to operate. You cannot adjust the temperature. I wish that you could. Instead of just twisting to turn off and on, I wonder if the manufacturer could add a click that was a different temperature setting so that it was off, low then high when you turn it. Just a thought. The cord is a good length. The thumb lever feels sturdy and there is quite a bit of tension in the clamp so it did a good job of holding my hair in place. Since the barrel is shorter, I made sure to use smaller sections of hair. That took longer, but it actually resulted in more curls, and I liked it. The tip on the end is short, so I had a couple of times that I almost burned myself. I may use a heat glove going forward. This is definitely a good option for a travel curling iron.

Its ok for medium length. I would guess its probably a bit difficult to use on long hair tho, due to its size.It heat up quick, tho there's only an on/off setting. No option for temp.It seems well made and good quality.I really like the plastic cover it has that goes over the curler. I would NOT put this on when its still hot, but it is nice for traveling.Biggest complaint, which I reduced a star for, is that it does not have a built in stand for when you set it down.Other than that this is a nice curler that I'm really happy with.

Really great size for travel packing.2 family members used it on trip for touch ups.Heats up quickly, but no 'prop' to set hot curler on when you lay it down.Also, has only one heat setting, family would have appreciated both a high and low setting.And it's pretty short, perhaps too much trouble for a long-haired user.Assuming you can work with those features and/or limitations, this is a great small size to help minimize one of those essentials your family wants to bring everywhere.Recommended if you're looking for a small, curling iron for travel, with only a few compromises. Two heat settings and one of those swinging attached wire props would have gotten a higher rating from me.

This is a really nice small curling iron!It seems to work very well on fine hair, and it definitely does heat up fast. This makes it idea for last minute touch-ups, as well as travel.The only minor drawback is that there is only one heat setting, however, it does seem to be a good temperature that gives lasting curls without damaging hair.I really love it, and I think the cost/value ratio is good. I would recommend giving it a try!

I really like that this is a cordless curling iron and i like the size. Its small enough i can slip in my bag.
