Q: So all this is is three basic spices with a few added preservatives? What’s so great about it. Someone help! Is it for convenience?

Well, yes, it's just those three basic kitchen items. Perhaps it's the ratios of each? I don't know what makes this so good, but damned if it isn't the best. I do all the cooking in my home and this always goes on chicken. Always! Sometimes I slice the chicken into thin strips to make a chicken sub, sometimes I'll dice the meat to put into a salad, and sometimes I'll just toss the whole damn bird in the oven. But however I'm cooking it, I sprinkle this seasoning on first. I'm a very adventurous eater and I'll try anything. Anytime I see a new seasoning at the store, I grab it, always so eager to taste it. Most of them are very good. But none beat the basic yumminess of this stuff.

Q: What kids of meat do I use the Beau Monde in?

I mostly use it in a dip I make for shrimp, catfish, actually any fish entree. Great to dip French fries into also! 3Tbs Mayo, 1 Tbs Catsup, 1/4 tsp Beau Monde. Can kick it up with a splash or two of hot sauce. Mix well, chill a bit and enjoy. Love Beau Monde!
