I was looking for a robe like what you get in hotel rooms. This was wonderful esp for the price. It fits a little big but I don't mind. It is really thick and warm and great for absorbing water right after the shower. It feels a little softer than a towel.

I did lots of searching and comparing of white cotton waffle bathrobes before deciding to order this one. The total cost was $37.70 including tax and free shipping. I expected a lesser robe for that price, but I just needed a lightweight knee-length robe, so I went for it. The weight of the package was my first surprise. This is not a flimsy, lightweight robe. I weighed the robe, and it was over 3 pounds! So it's not a "travel" robe, thin and light for packing; it is substantial. The top critical review said it was "cheaply made." And when I took it out of the dryer, I was alarmed to see that about eight inches on one end of the belt was unstitched. But on inspecting the robe, I found no other problems. I could have returned it, but I thought: For that price, I'm willing to get out needle and thread and sew that eight inches of belt. I consider this bathrobe to be a great value that exceeded my expectations. After reading the reviews, my one suggestion to the brand would be to add a size S/M to the line for the petite women.

Buyer beware!!! If you are ordering the L size of this robe, it’s a very nice, luxurious white terry cloth lined waffle robe. If you are ordering the XL size of this robe, it is a completely different robe and brand of robe. The XL is not lined, and it is not nearly the quality of the L robes. I ordered 6-Large size and 6- X Large size to put one of each in guest rooms. The Large robes are much nicer. Usually when a product is offered in two sizes, it’s the same product. If they are not the same, they should be listed as two different products. I’m rating this as a 4 star purchase- the Larges are a 5 star, and the X Larges are a 3 star.

I'm 9 months pregnant and was looking for something to throw on after showers and possibly to wear during labor. I actually forgot I bought this and had my husband pick one up from a different brand at kohl's. It was about the same price but short and really thin and barely wraps around my tummy. Anyway I was like "it will do I guess" then yesterday this came in the mail and I was kindof confused but decided to keep it because IMMEDIATELY I could tell this one is superior quality. It is HEAVY. After trying it on it fits sooo nice and is really absorbent and comfy. The first thought I had was "this would make a good gift." So yeah. I never leave reviews, but I'm so happy with this that I wanted to tell everyone if you're thinking of getting it, go for it, it's really nice.

I purchased four of these waffle-knit robes for guests. We have an outdoor Finnish-style sauna, and it was important for us to have something for our guests to wear when they came out. It was critical to us that we had 100% cotton - which these are. Our sauna contains no synthetics that would have an off-gassing effect when heated, and we're adverse to having synthetics in the linens we use in the sauna. These robes fit the bill. They're substantial without being too heavy. The inside of these robes are terrycloth (like a towel) and the outside is the waffle knit. The breathe nicely, providing some warmth at the same time. Perfect purchase and excellent value for the money. I think it said something about 'hotel quality' in the description, but this is a pretty meaningless thing. They aren't quite the giant-thick-heavy robes at a Kempinski Hotel - but I didn't want that! These are a nice medium-weight, well-made robe like what you would find at a Lansdowne Resort / Spa. These robes strike the perfect balance, and are an exceptional value!

I was searching for a nice Terry cloth robe for our guest bedroom. I was so disappointed with this robe. Its is not soft at all. Even after 2 washings. Very scratchy material inside the robe. In the description by the seller it recommends no fabric softener which this robe would need. It has no washing instructions on the robe so had to search the questions for recommended ways to wash it. It is not a bright white at all. Very Dingy even after I bleached it which was advised NOT to do. If your looking for a soft, white, spa robe keep looking

I've ordered quite a few robes on Amazon and most in this price range are very thin. This robe is surprisingly thick especially for a waffle weave. It's waffle on the outside and terry cloth on the inside like a turkish robe. For the price, you can't ask for much better. I think these compare favorably to robes costing 100 dollars. .
