I love this product, pricing is on point, utilization is a breeze, cleaning is simplistic. The manufacturing process seems off due to the alignment of spout, handle, and lid but has zero affect on use. As we are aware, plumbing and grease are rivals; remove debris from filter before rinsing filter with hot tap water, transfer used oil to discarded container (never discard oil in sink) and wipe with paper towel before a through wash. I hand wash this product versus dishwasher sanitation. I do not see issues with dishwasher cleaning but suspect it would introduce issues that are not present with hand washing.

Nice container but just too big to fit in the cupboard, on any shelf. This size demands space. I felt it was too big for a family of 2.

This oil can has been helpful for holding hot cooking grease. Once the oil cools you can transfer it to a plastic container for disposal. The strainer is good if you want to separate the fried particles from cooking so you can use the oil again. It is a good size for reserving cooking oil for later use.
