Bought it as a gift for boyfriend's b'day and he loves it. It has made listening to vinyls fun again and looks super-cool. He likes his music loud so we have plugged it into an amplifier but to be honest I think the sound levels are fine - but I don't listen to music too loudly so it is just a matter of preference.

Great item and outstanding delivery service over the Christmas period.Vinyl is making a revival of some sorts and playing old Christmas records over the festive period created a great atmosphere. For the most part though the player will replace an ipod dock with the othe 6 in one inputs (depending on which model you have) bringing the old look into the modern tech. Highly recomend

This is a very attractive gramophone and I am quite pleased with my purchase. It comes with a European power plug, but the seller I bought it through (Cool Sounds) was excellent about including a UK plug adaptor so that I can use it in the UK. The gramophone can play records, CDs, radio, MP3's, and has a wire that allows you to hook it up to your phone or laptop.While generally it is a great piece, I've rated it 4 stars because the CD player is quite noisy (and can only hold one CD at a time). Fortunately, you can plug an MP3 player into it. It is, however, not Apple compatible (though what is?!). I was not able to get my iPod to work on it (either by plugging it into the USB or using the external input wire). However, you can get it to play music off an iPhone if you use the external input wire. Not sure why the iPhone worked and the iPod didn't.Over all, it's quite a nice find!

I bought this for my Uncles 60th birthday - who is a bit old skool.He has so many LPs stashed away - to no use.I cant wait till i give this to him - he will be over the moon.Delivery was very fast - and extremely happy with the service.Well done to the team

I would not recommend you buy this item. Mine lasted 3 weeks and I only played Vinyl three times. First the turn table stopped working midway through playing and suddenly it stopped completely. After switching it on and off, it simply never came on again. Utter piece of rubbish! It is so expensive and long winded to send the damn thing back, as I have to buy a box to fit it in, take a taxi to work because you can't carry it and send it back via courier! Buy with extreme caution, as I think they are cheaply made! The record player on top of was flimsy plastic!!!!It looks great, it really does, but is more of an ornament then a functioning turntable/ CD/ Radio. Oh - I never got to test the radio and CD player, because it BROKE before I could try it!What's worse, you cannot contact the seller, Health Entertainment - so that made it even worse! Don't buy from them!

It's okay. It looks great, it doesn't sound great. The wooden base is solid wood very high quality, the needle arm feels like a McDonalds Happy Meal toy, in fact the whole turntable part on the top of the wooden base is made of cheap plastic, the record doesn't spin smoothly.Radio is good. CD player is okay, not the best, yet again made out of cheap plastic, but it works.The horn is made out of plastic, but looks like metal very convincingly! So that's very good, not as good as it actually being metal though of course.The horn speaker is essentially non-existent... It has one, but you wouldn't be able to tell because it's so quiet.The main speakers however are okay. The volume is pretty good too, can get very loud.Another downside is that it comes with a European plug, so unless you have an adapter you won't be able to plug it in anywhere.Overall 3/5. You could spend your money on far better record players! But you won't get something that looks this good!

Very nice , good sound , multi functional

Fab product my mr was over the moon with it as am i, a little mess up in the building upon delivery nothing to do with company and they still strived to sort the problem even though it wasnt their fault. absolutely fantastic service deffinatly recomended :)
