She writes stories that have me hooked on every single word, Promise Me Always was no different. I had been eager for Tessa’s story and boy did AL Jackson deliver above and beyond any expectations I had.I knew Milo had a story to tell but I was not prepared to know his truth. My heart just hurt for him. This beautiful broken man who was so much harder on himself than he deserved. I’m a true sucker for a single dad and when I tell you Milo Hendricks could have it all and then some.Tessa McDaniels, the bubbly ray of sunshine that could brighten any day. She was the light to bring Milo out of the dark even when he tried to fight. She had so much love to give. Even when things weren’t going as planned, she carried herself with this endless optimism and hope.I can’t write this review and not spotlight Scout and Remy. Scout was an adorable ball of restless energy that warmed my heart. Remy was shy, sweet and wise beyond than her years. They both just stole the show in any scene they were in. My heart just melted watching them with Milo. The bond and love they found with Tessa was the sweetest thing.Life had broken Milo and Tessa in different ways and my heart desperately craved a hea for them. Their chemistry and connection was undeniable. They had fiery passion (hello, piano scene). From the very beginning, I was caught in their grasp, unable to put look away from the beauty that was them falling in love.If you know AL Jackson, you know that while she’s giving you this beautiful love story, she’s also going to keep you on the edge with the suspense. My mind raced with theories and my jaw hit floor when the bombs started dropping.What a book, what a story. What a love.“𝑴𝒂𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝑻𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂. 𝑴𝒂𝒅, 𝒎𝒂𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆.”The narration is not to be missed. Connor Crais with that deep growly tenor was the perfect Milo. Samantha Brentmoor was flawless as Tessa. These two expertly exuded the emotions from this book heightening the experience even more.

Just wow. The series was so well written. I loved each character. The depth and sincerity that came with each MC was special. Juni and Gage topped it for me. They added such genuine love to all of it that I laughed and cried at everything that they said.As Tessa would say Mad, Mad love!!Going to read the next series now!!!

In Promise Me Always, Tessa finally gets to shine. She has always been to the cool best friend, always being there for the girls in the series. And now it was her turn to find her HEA. Tessa and Milo have always had an attraction to one another. But with Tessa having a boyfriend throughout the series, it has been kept down low. In this book, Tessa is free from that horrible guy and here comes Milo to the rescue. I really liked these two as a couple. They were just so good together. What started out as a helping each other out situation quickly grew into more. It was fascinating to see them deal with chemistry while dealing with outside circumstances. We learn more about Milo. I was always intrigued by the big bodyguard of Absolution. He was so protective and it was nice seeing that extend to his kids and Tessa and anyone else he cared for. Of course it wouldn't be all smooth sailing for Tessa and Milo as they navigate their relationship. That extra suspense really gave oomph to the story. What I love about the AL Jackson's stories is how the two lead characters have a connection and it was intriguing to see what it would be in Promise Me Always. I can't forget the Lawson brothers, their ladies, and their kids. There was just a great familial bond and love and I liked how Tessa and Milo were part of that fold. AL Jackson never disappoints with her romances. There are always amazing characters, good storylines, wonderful romance, and awesome friendships. Promise Me Always was a fantastic story! I am excited to see where AL Jackson leads us next.

The heartwrenching pain both Tessa and Milo suffered was unimaginable, the malevolent evil that lurked at every turn trying destroy the life they built had me on the edge of my seat but nothing can outweigh the absolutely beautiful journey these two shared to find their happily ever after!"You and I can remind each other that we have love. Just as long as you promise me always.”I don't know how Amy does it time after time but she weaves the most amazing poetic words into an UNPUTDOWNABLE masterpiece and Promise Me Always was just that!! But as always, time there is well worth the smiles, the tears, and the breathtaking words written on those pages. Loved seeing the folks from the previous books and so happy Tessa finally got the 'cake' she so deserved! (for those who followed this series...you get this ha!)A single Dad, small town romance can be read alone but you'd miss out on so much.This one stole my heart and was my fav! Who doesn't love a woman, down on her luck, with an idiot, and then the tables turn and she finds the love her beautiful character desires--Milo.He had me the first time he called Tessa 'little dove'. This beautiful beast of a man with the most gentle heart...   "I'm saying that I want this forever. You and me and my kids. I want to promise you always, Tessa, when I didn't think I had always to give "A most sizzling, steamy read with beautiful broken characters with strong morals and fierce loyalty, and a little corrupt in the best way to give us that dark, dangerous edge.With an added touch of suspense...that twist got me! Loved these two teamed up to win back his kids and find each other!Feel all the feels with this one!

I just loved reading this series, Milo and Tessa make such a fantastic couple. The heartbreak they have both suffered and helped each other through is amazing. The way Tessa is with Milo's children too is so heart warming. each book just gets better and better. Each book having their own unique story that keeps you hooked from the very beginning, I also love the fact that you got the previous couples still in this book too kind of like an update on them.

As usual from A.L. Jackson and her Redemption Hills series, it was a hell of an emotional roller coster!I wasn't sure if I really related to Tessa that much but I most definitely loved getting to know her and Milo was once again a gentle loving giant with a dark and sinistre past.As per the previous installments in tbe series, the story turned dark, twisted and the plot appeared almost hopeless for a while. How could things improve from that twist. And yet, and yet, if you've read a bool from A.L. Jackson, you just know that she will take you there absolutely perfectly.

Tessa and Milo are a match made in heaven - he loved his wife Autumn, who is now deceased - but the love he has and feels so deeply, for Tessa, is like nothing he's even experienced. The relationship is what they both need, the awful time she spent with Karl (ewwww!) was a horrible existence for her;; and the loneliness Milo was living in - they both needed saving, and they did that for each other - when they absolutely needed it. SOULMATES FOR SURE!Tessa had her eye on Milo from the first time she met him - she wanted to climb him like a tree - but, she was with Karl; and Milo had no interest in having a girlfriend, but he did indeed notice Tessa.One night he was there for her, when she needed him most; the saving of each other started that night. Mad, mad, love soon followed - fake for sure, for reasons, but not for long!!! Tragedies have happened to them both - but they work through it all, together, eventually.LOVE THESE TWO!! The author had me laughing out loud, but also deeply emotional, I kept reading with tears in my eyes............

Promise Me Always was such an emotional read! 😭❤️ Milo, the bouncer at the biker club, and Tessa, the teacher, were so perfect for each other. Milo, the single dad fighting for the custody of his children, and Tessa, who was saved by Milo from an abusive relationship, start as roommates and friends but soon start fake dating so Milo can get custody of his children. Milo was such a broken, beautiful, protective man. He loved Tessa and protected her fiercely from her ex. Tessa was like sunshine in his dark life and supported him like a rock to get custody of his children. She was so kind, beautiful, and sassy. They fought through everything and got their beautiful happy ending. 🌟💖And because this book is by A.L. Jackson, it obviously has lots of action, suspense, drama, hotness, romance, angst, love, and more. Do read this romance book, and I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did! 📚🔥💞
